Look behind you.
Interesting. Thanks for pointing this out. I'll check around if it means something. .[/I]

It is the number 4, the 2 I previously stated, the first game Matthews scored 4 goals and they lost, last nights game they lost by 4.... That is 4 fours ending in a loss........... :fear:

Where is ghg go these days.... oh wait, the free fall of the canadians is well under way, nuf said
I will bet with you.

But I have to say, I will accept the outcome of the bet only if the Habs win. If they loose I will not.

I learn to deal like that from a guy you may know ;)

You answer in a different thread. But that is ok.

You also do not think it's smelling like the Habs will win the cup?

It's just a few loss, many games to play still this season. They will regroup and go all the way. Go Habs Go!

Cheers,

Well that is a relief, i saw a guy by himself walking up the JC bridge earlier today in this snowy weather and thought to myself:

"self, could it be?" nahhhhhh the scabs are still in a playoff spot so i knew it could not be our buddy

The habitants are nowhere close to a cup, in fact I would argue the Leafs in year 2 of a complete tear down and rebuild are closer to a cup than les scabitant. The habbys need a #1 centre, another top 4 dman and a consistent goalie, WOW i never thought i would be saying that last one but Price is not Thee Man anymore. He will have some great games but is just not himself like he was 2 years ago, something is wrong either in his head or body or both and neither is easy to fix.

Actually, he made an appearance recently:

He's back!!!

He will be back Igna. He will be back. He has proven he is the best. Beside, he has to come back to top form unless I will look like a complete fool here on the board ;)

The Leafs will win next year or next. Habs this year. Simple :)

Cheers,

Marc "Bargain Bin" Bergevin will never fire his bestie Michelle on his own, they are joined at the hip and Geoff Molson willl have to fire them both at the same time or order Marky Mark to fire his pal.

I have a important question for the SP of the Year, "IF" (and it is a huge IF) the Leafs make the playoffs this year and we have to face the Caps, will you and I love or hate each other during that series?

:pound:
Haha until they figure out a way to fire coach Therrien who's style of play is not that great (dump and chase) and make a couple of trades maybe then they have a chance :p
They should get coach Julien who got fired from Boston

Wait a second? Did you just call me a stone?

Ok it can be a love/hate relationship for 4-7 games then whomever wins we congratulate each other with a shot of malibu and wish the winner the best of luck the rest of the playoffs and the loser roots for the others team to go all the way! Deal?

Think about it, the Caps and the Leafs are two of the most exciting teams to watch in all of hockey anyways so it should be a fun series IF it happens. Seriously i would expect it maybe next season but certainly not as much this season, Leafs have a ways to go before they are ready for the Caps in a playoff series. On the other hand les scabitant's would be much easier for the Leafs to win a series against.

Omg omg Don't make me chose between our friendship and my beloved hockey team .. that's like picking diamonds over pearls !
All I hope is we do not win the president trophy! That thing is a curse hihi :p

Well, Bargain Bin Bergevin saved himself & wound up firing his buddy Mike Therrien today. He replaced him with.....CLAUDE JULIEN!!!!

This is the 2nd time Julien replaces him as habs coach. Who'll replace Julien one day?? My guess is Alain Vigneault if he's available.

Yeah, i also heard them once the game ended and they were quite loud. By the way, this was one hell of a boring game until halfway into the third period. I'm very surprised fans still play big $$ to go and watch this BORING team.

If fans expect things to change much with Claude Julien they're in for a big shock. As i said many times, it wasn't Michel Therrien that was the problem with this team. It's the fact it's a team made up of maybe 10 true NHL players and the rest belong in the minors. Carey Price and Andrei Markov were the only players who showed up to play today. Price was very good, but you can't win games when you only score once. And i believe it's time to trade Nathan Beaulieu, who plays well 1 out of 5 games and has the reputation as being a party animal. It took less than a period for Claude Julien to realize that Alex Galchenyuk is NOT a center and he put him back on the wing. Shea Webber was invisible once again throughout the game. He's back to playing like he did last season in Nashville. Habs definitely lost that trade! Andrew Shaw is overpaid and has been a bust. Plekanek is on his last legs. Gallagher is a shade of the player he used to be. Pacioretty is a sniper, but he takes too many games off considering he's the captain.

This team is in trouble, folks!!!

I read the following on another habs-not forum that i like to read for my daily humor:

In Feb, no forward besides Patches, Radu or Galchenyuk has scored. Let that sink in. Biron, Lehkonon, Mitchell, Pleks, Gallagher ( Before and after injury) Shaw and Danault all are in serious goal droughts. Add the shoddy D and Price's less than stellar play and you get a team that's won 17 of their last 44 in a league where EVERYONE is over .500.

Guys it's a short term problem that will be solved. The habs will be back and win the cup. Simple and clear. Next year will be Toronto.

I just feel it. Just wait a few weeks before laughing at me because if not it will haunt you.

Will he still be president by then?? I have a good feeling it's more likely that President Pence will be doing the hosting by then.

But he's obviously crazy, Mister 69. And which 'promises' has he kept? Has he got rid of ACA? Has he built that infamous 'Wall'?? Has he lowered taxes yet? Has he 'drained the swamp'? Other than costing tax payers a fortune by having to protect his billionaire family constantly vacationing around the world including costing taxpayers $1 million a day because his estranged russian wife refuses to go live with him in DC, he hasn't accomplished much than acting crazy, lying constantly and catering to fellow billionaires by appointing them to all kinds of cabinet positions they're unqualifed much. Not impressed. Neither are more Senate Republicans who'll one day in the near future have to kick his ass out of Washington. Crazy Presidents, especially those who are Russian plants, are not welcome in America.

p.s. So, how's life in your alternate-reality?? Any good pussy out there?? How are those Russian hookers that Trump loves so much? The ones he pays to piss all over him, all over his face, all over his hair, etc. Oh right, those are real! ;)

Okay, off-topic....back to hockey. :D
