Lisee showed yesterday his arrogant self and it was ugly, like his mentor Jacques Parizeau. It seems gradually QS is replacing the PQ. Good riddance

I hadn't thought of Parizeau, but you're right, it was a similar kind of arrogant dickishness.

The hell you talking about? His question where pertinent. What kind of party is QS? The leader is nowhere to be seen, the person we see is a "spoke person" like really? SO basically if QS would win, then who would be prime minister? Massé or that mystery leader?

QS is a joke of a party. There basically promising the moon without a mean to deliver it. There dangerous for Quebec honestly with there extreme left views.

Personally i already voted (by anticipation) and i can say proudly i voted for PQ. Altough Lysée was not my first choice for the leader when he was elected leader of the PQ, i actually grew to love the guy. He seem real while at the same time knowing how to spoke and rally the more "intellectual folks". I think ultimately this may be a problem for Legault, he seem real but the way he speak seem a bit too "small folks" and not eloquent enough, some peoples seem to hold this against him.

In any case i would rather see a governement of CAQ rather than the dreadfull corrupted Liberals we have been enduring since way too long.

Libérez-nous des Libéraux !!

Does someone know if Manon Massé was born a men and now a women or she is a women with men's genes (with her moustache and all...)?
I am absolutely against the idea of QS but somehow I would trust her before all others! I whish she was leading CAQ!
Cheers,
p.s. could you imagine if she win's and somehow gets to have a visit at the white house? I can read it on CNN "Trump, Cruz, Pense... suddenly die of a simultaneous heart attack!!"

Only kids like QS bc they believe in free stuff. I had mistakes to vote for Pauline and Valerie. Will not do same mistakes again ...

Justine is definitely toast!...with none of the big 3 provinces (Ontario, Quebec and Alberta) in Liberal hands coupled with a list of blunders, corrupt policies, inept trade negotiations with the US, perceived as a whimp by US President Trump...and you have to wonder how is this guy still in power!

The results of the election in Quebec are amazing and historical, as pointed out by this story in the National Post. The results are as astounding as if someone like, well, I don't know...Donald Trump were elected president of the U.S.

All the ways in which the Quebec election made history

First conservative government in Quebec since 1970

Most personally wealthy premier since Danny Williams

First new party since 1971 to win a majority so quickly

Worst vote share for the Quebec Liberal party since ConfederationWorst seat count for Quebec separatists since 1973

Clara Versailles,

One thing to note is that the CAQ has almost no representation on the island of Montreal. Montreal was still predominantly Liberals.

Most historical election results in Quebec history. For the first time there is a party in power other then the PLQ or PQ. The PQ is slowly fading away. This party should not exist in modern day times. Not much people are interested to separate from Canada or to impose even stricter draconian language laws then we already have. The PLQ pissed off a lot of people with their economic austerity measures (typical of right-wing conservative governments) and they drove the knife in and twisted it when Couillard said it is possible to live off $75 a week on groceries. I dunno what planet he comes from but even that pissed me off. Considering how prices keep on rising but your salaries remain stagnant I found that downright insulting. I also disliked Gaetan Barrette. This guy was a moron. Kept on cutting and cutting and then justifying his bad decisions even though the results are bad. One last thing I despise Crony Capitalism. The Liberals keep on favoring Bombardier they got billions and billions of dollars from taxpayers so the greedy corporations can cut more jobs and the CEOs and their executives can stomach the profits into their pockets. All parties opposed the huge salary increases and bonus increases but the Liberals blocked them and allowed them to get their raise. They also raised the salaries of specialists in the medical field. Granted the economy is doing very great but the Liberals pissed off too many people. They wanted change and now we have it. The CAQ is the first conservative government in Quebec. Expect stricter rules on social behavior. Legault wants to raise the legal age to smoke marijuana to 21 which I think is ridiculous. They will smoke it anyways like they been doing for years. Legault also wants to go further and ban all religious symbols from any public sector jobs. I am for a completely secular state. Religion has no place in the government including Christianity. So if they want to ban Muslim they should also do the same for all other religions. Legault wants to decrease immigration which I am all for. Montreal is really getting over populated. The more immigrants we have we will have mass traffic everywhere, housing and rent prices will go up much higher. One can see the results of Toronto. One last thing it is yet unknown how Legault will deal with prostitution. He might go the Alberta route. It might become very strict. Who knows. I dunno his stance on sex work.

^^^^^^ I have a bottle of vodka, superb weed and some Sun chips ready for Quebec the next few years, complete reversal from th PC Liberals. Justine has already shown his dislike of the new premier.

^^^^^^ Easy to see that he is a bigot, if you are not a Quebecer you should not be in Quebec, no matter your skin color. If he could he would ban all immigrants, he is doing the bigot lite for now.
Just my opinion.
