I have run into a few of them personally when they hit on my then girlfriend who is now my wife. LOL. What a mess and train wreck watching these guys work it.
Was referring to you in a playful banter way. But also because your story is unique so wanted to know if you cracked some sort of algorithm code. There are 100s of posts online (like Reddit) about how hard it is for a male to get dates using online dating. Infact, I just brought this topic up with my landlord (leaving Montreal), he said the same thing. He's single, white, fit, late 20s and said he can pull in about 2-3 dates a month if he gets super lucky. Has to work hard for it though. Unless you define as "2-3" dates a month as "doing well" then I agree, top guys can do "that well".

It's not as straightforward as that.
For some people, myself included it's sometimes because of convenience and instant access. Most of the times my sexual needs are fulfilled with women I meet organically, however this requires some planning, even if minimal. I’ve honestly never been great with women, but the bigger problem is there are too few Canadian cities with a lot of attractive single women where there’s at least a chance. Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal seem like the only ones. Alberta/Sask/Manitoba have women obviously, but they get paired up in their early-mid 20’s and there is very slim pickings >30 or for a guy who is late 30’s+. The male to female ratio is also too high. I have a good job where I am, but it’s dating hell to be honest... but no guarantee moving will change that for me either so I’m feeling stuck.

Okay so it turned out I was staying in the wrong part of town (Laval) and thus not seeing my type.
I checked out "South shore" and they had ton of women my type. My apologies for my comments. Quebec is beautiful.

Back in the day I was considered quite attractive. I had my moments. However, I would say that I spent more Friday and Saturday nights then I can remember, shit-faced at Denny's ordering the Grand Slam Breakfast and then going home and wacking off. These days the Millennial's have apps that they can just swipe on and I think that helps to increase the odds. My son who is a better looking guy than I ever was and is extremely successful has spent a lot of time unfulfilled and frustrated. He thought he has found what he wants and now he is not so sure. I think natures big trick is to make us all feel a bit unfulfilled so we try to spread our seed everywhere.

In my opinion this thread has a naive and shallow premise that a man who has superior good looks will be able to get all the free action he needs. In my opinion "shtick" is as important as looks- the ability to make women feel comfortable around you and actually enjoy your company is a skill that some good looking men do not have. I know one guy who falls into this category. I would say he is very above average in looks- maybe top 15%- but he has been thrown out of strip clubs, had drinks thrown in his face and even had escorts walk out on him because he is a complete and total fucking social trainwreck. It is/was so bad that although he wanted to join me and 3 other guys on a trip to Montreal, we unanimously (4-0) voted not to bring him with us because we felt he would damage our own collective social activities as a group. I feel sorry for the guy but he has some disorder that grips him when he is with women and it's a fucking poison that needs to be controlled, like other poisons.

I think MOST super attractive guys, do not come with awesome personalities. Why would they? They probably got through life with their looks and bro-like personality, with no adversity towards that, almost have no reason to be nice. This is the original meaning of a douchbag. Unfortunately this applies to women as well.
100% agree with the theory of the "shtick", that's what reigns king at the end of the day. Short term, looks wins, but takes a mature and humble woman to notice a "shtick".
I learned a new term 2 years ago, sapiosexual, someone who is attracted to a person's mind and intellect. We need more sapiosexuals in this world.
