There are 100s of posts online (like Reddit) about how hard it is for a male to get dates using online dating. Infact, I just brought this topic up with my landlord (leaving Montreal), he said the same thing. He's single, white, fit, late 20s and said he can pull in about 2-3 dates a month if he gets super lucky. Has to work hard for it though. Unless you define as "2-3" dates a month as "doing well" then I agree, top guys can do "that well".

For some people, myself included it's sometimes because of convenience and instant access. I’ve honestly never been great with women, but the bigger problem is there are too few Canadian cities with a lot of attractive single women where there’s at least a chance. Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal seem like the only ones. Alberta/Sask/Manitoba have women obviously, but they get paired up in their early-mid 20’s and there is very slim pickings >30 or for a guy who is late 30’s+. The male to female ratio is also too high. I have a good job where I am, but it’s dating hell to be honest... but no guarantee moving will change that for me either so I’m feeling stuck.

Back in the day I was considered quite attractive. I had my moments. However, I would say that I spent more Friday and Saturday nights then I can remember, shit-faced at Denny's ordering the Grand Slam Breakfast and then going home and wacking off. These days the Millennial's have apps that they can just swipe on and I think that helps to increase the odds. I think MOST super attractive guys, do not come with awesome personalities. Why would they?
