I have a question for the board. I met up with a SP recently. After we were done I took out my money to pay her. I handed her the money and she told me to put the money on the table. So I did and she picked it up from there. I thought it was strange cause I was standing in front of her. But it seem like she didn't want to accept the money directly from me. Does anyone know why she would do that? Seems kind of strange to me.

It is not a myth, extra carefull sp's will do this to protect themselves in case the client is an undercover cop.
Some independents will even ask to bring the money in an enveloppe. They could then testify in court that they did not know what the enveloppe contained.
Girls will also prefer the client to get undressed very early in the encounter, undercover officers will want to make the money transaction and get proofs without getting naked.

yeah just a case of over carefulness.. Thecnically if you had sex with her, it prove already you are not a cop, as a cop can't have sex with a target girl. Now also we are in canada... not like those kind of thing risk happening too much. But oh well...

Yes, exactly. That whole nonsense about not handing over money directly, etc. comes from watching too much US TV.

In the US of course, prostitution itself is wholly illegal and undercover stings/entrapment much more common. In Canada (for now at least) we have only public solicitation to worry about.

Exactly. A lot of Canadian SPs are checking US prostitution websites and taking hints from there. In Canada, prostitution is still legal (for now).
