Correction: There is at least ONE thing sadder - a leaf fan who has consistently gotten everything wrong since day one. (You poor, poor soul!)

Bring on the Bruins or the Flyers, it don't matter which! We'll kick their ass too!

Morris, tickets at the Bell Center were $7.50 with the proceeds going to a children's charity. Totally sold out in 4 hours and it was a complete blast there tonight! We were in a loge and the sound volume was ear crushing!

Hey Doc! the day the Leafs can match what the Habs did this year, beating the top team in the NHL and the Stanley Cup champs back to back, I'll come to a GT in a Leafs sweater and do a table dance in front of everyone. Somehow I don't think I have anything to worry about. :)

Doc, that is not a nice way to talk about our 2 resident punching bags in here, go easy on Mrs.C and GSG, there preparing the underneath of the "wagon" for a all night drinking fest to drown their tears when the scabs are eliminated next week. give em a break ok? ...................................................................:)

Good prediction lg - NOT!

Outremont
Win

So the Montreal Canadiens beat the best team of the season by far - the Washington Capitals in the very first round.

Now the Habs have just outplayed the latest Stanley Cup Champions, the Pittsburg Penguins.

Unbelievable!

So maybe the 3rd round against Boston or Philadelphia might be less of a drawn-out series?

Who knows. But we sure went over two HUGE obstacles so far. And now the team can rest until Sunday when the next round begins while Bruins and Flyers fight it out on Friday until the winner is hopefully exhausted. :D

Congrats Nadya and Tech, i can honestly say you 2 are two of the more real habs fans in here, thru thick and thin you have supported your team, congrats, and i will be here wednesday night with a tissue for you both when the habs are FINALLY eliminated by "THE CROSBY SHOW"! .... hihi, sorry, couldnt resist...

Another "brilliant" prediction from our resident know-nothing loudmouth.

slamming the habs is a year round sport, not limited to just Leafs fans either, and you better hope may hockey in montreal doesnt start out like april hockey ended for your "little" team, was that even hockey the scabs played the other night? looked like the pens against the remparts for crying out loud! :)

I guess the Pens are quite disappointed that they lost the series to the "remparts" (sic).

Congrats Tech! as i said in the other thread you and Nadya are real and TRUE fans of your team, unlike the 2 resident punching bags in here who only talk when they win a game, or claim to like another team when they lose, and leave for weeks at a time. . Congrats, and i think Philly would be a tougher challenge for you, although nothing would be sweeter than to see the bruins destroy the scabs one more time! heh heh ... good luck my friend.

the Pens are "MY SCAPEGOAT TEAM!" . please dont step on my turf, understand?

This post indicates, sadly, that you still have not learned the meaning of the word "scapegoat". It also indicates, to the surprsie of no one, that you know SQUAT about hockey, but at least you are consistent in your backing of losers.
Not that I would compare the Pens - or any other REAL NHL team - to the hopeless, stinkin' leafs, but in THIS instance the Pens were losers - quite possibly because YOU were cheering for them. Let's face it: you have all the qualifications to rent yourself out as a professional jinx - you only back losers, all your predictions are wrong, and every team you root for ends up losing. Hey, you should be proud, lg - I know I will hire you if I ever need the services of a JINX!

yea it is, but this is Pitt, the defending champs and i really think Pitt is the best team in hockey right now, they have the experience and oh, they have crosby/malkin as well..... and "IF" markov is out, well, it is gonna be tough for Montreal to say the least.

Do you EVER get tired of being wrong all the time?

What I don't understand though is the Habs fan mentality. Just last night as I was leaving my hotel heading out for the evening, walking along the streets of Montreal was idiotic. People acting like they won game 7 of the SC finals. Seriously, it's game 4 of the CONFERENCE SEMI FINALS, NOT THE FINALS FOR THE CUP!!! I mean, just jackasses everywhere you turned. When you win something meaningful then celebrate and do it graciously, not when you win game 4 to tie a conf semifinals series, that's asinine! This is exactly why I root for anyone playing the Habs.

Its called emotion and passion, something Bruins fans are in short supply of. Speaking of the Bruins, congratulations on pulling off the biggest choke jobs in NHL history - Rask has been exposed and what little scoring you had, dried up.
