Regardless of the City there are distractions if you want to find them, but at the end of the day, NHL players like players in the NFL, MLB and NBA all have to make a living and if they don't pay attention to business off the field they soon find themselves out of a job.

Ken Singleton, the former Montreal Expos player who has been a Yankees broadcaster for many years now, has said many times that Montreal was the favorite road trip of MLB players when the Expos were there. Back when the Expos played the strip club scene in Montreal was better, plus it certainly has a superior escort scene to most if not all American cities, when factoring in value. NYC, Vegas and LA might have better very high end offerings that a pro athlete can afford, but Montreal certainly holds its own against anyone on value.
