The Devils are 4-0 and have the best goal differential in the NHL despite playing 3 less games than most other teams.
The Devils are the only unbeaten, untied team in the NHL. Chicago is unbeaten in regulation but has 2 OTLs.

Pens 3-0 over Leafs....surprising game....not the explosive one we were waiting for.....Pens played very well in their defensive zone.....Murray did well with 28 saves and a bagel..
Was great to see Crawford back with the Hawks after 10 months--concussion.....he went through a tough and dark long period.....many were suspecting he would NEVER be back....so there he is :yo:...i wish him a good season....his team---except yesterday--plays well.

^^^^^ Yes, I was at a pub in Vancouver and with the Canucks playing plus NFL I never thought I could convince the waitress to put the game on one of the TVs but she did.... Yamamoto played well also, first real NHL goal.
Just enjoyed AVS 3-CANES 1......we rarely mention AVS here BUT they are always fun to watch . Today they tied PREDS in top of their conference.....MacKINNON---LANDESKOG with 5 goals in the last 2 games and RANTANEN---who leads the league for assists.........those 3 total 43 pts in 8 games...:yo:

Clearly the Nashville Predators are the team that looks the strongest in the NHL to start this season. Nashville is playing like a team that is angry that they lost the western conference last year, and they should be angry. They had a team that could have gone all the way last year and they still can. Subban is off to a tremendous start. This team is almost impossible to beat in Music City. I like their chances a lot, even while Gaby swoons over teams like the Sharks, Capitals and Leafs. I don’t understand Gaby’s fanboy crush on the Sharks. They aren’t a complete team. They are a fatally flawed team.

Last night in 6-3 home loss to TB, CHI allowed 33 shots in the 2nd period and 55 shots for the game. I can't remember the last time I saw a goalie allow 5 or more goals while having a save % over 90 for the game. Can you imagine being Ward and facing 33 shots, in one period, on home ice? It's not what you want, as Joe Girardi would say.
