"What can I tell you that's new between yesterday and now?" he said, laughing. "OK, how about this: I'm a big believer that if you do good things, good things happen. I think, over time, that's the case. We lost six games in a row, I guess, the year we won the Cup (in 2008), but in saying that, I've never had a team that played this way and lost. So we've just got to stick with it.
"The other thing is I'm a big believer that you focus on the process. You don't win by focusing on winning. You win by focusing on the process, being good on the forecheck, being good in your own zone, being diligent and going about your own business. If you're a scorer and you're not scoring and you focus on scoring, you ain't going to score. Focus on getting in the right spot. Focus on taking the body. Focus on getting to the net. Focus on shooting the puck. Do the little things right, and everything looks after itself."
