Just imagine how many more votes a better candidate would have got had his/her reputation not been soiled by Russian propaganda and a late announcement by the director of the FBI.

Doc, this itself is a propaganda post. Russian propaganda did not influence the election. Hacked emails from the DNC likely influenced the elections. Hacked emails are essentially actual facts that have been improperly appropriated.

Have you asked yourself why Comey made that late announcement? From what you know of him, do you really think he wanted to do that so close to election day? He was pressured by FBI rank and file because the Clinton investigation was incomplete. It might have always been incomplete.

That last point about Comey is where one has to open your mind and make judgements about what happened. That was not how it was reported by 80-90% of media, but just Comey's odd behavior can give you unadulterated insight into the divisions within the FBI.

I think the Fusion guys themselves said they and Steele estimated it at about %50 correct. Which seems to be about right from what we've seen. The broad strokes seem to be right, the details seem to be off.

Val, you're too smart to hold out these opinionated and obfuscating statements as facts. Please save me the time. Look at it again and explain to everyone why the above statements here are spinning. Thanks.

Doc I do not think Trump is mentally retarded.

He is an egomaniac. Here are top 10 behaviour of an egomaniac:

1. Extreme self-centeredness
2. Intense cruelty
3. Naive self-confidence
4. Lack of empathy
5. Sense of entitlement
6. Lack of maturity
7. Calculating and cold
8. Ill temperament
9. Always alone
10. A lust for extravagance

No one can deny Trump is not an egomaniac by reading this.

He is unfit for office. Unfit to lead the greatest power in the world. He could be very damaging and that is why the shit hit the fan in the last few days.

Cheers,

Nikko would be good to make real sentence with some punctuation so we can actually understand your point, if that is your goal of course.

If CNN is a fake news channel what is your opinion on Fox?

Cheers,

QANON still asserts that a pedophile ring was run by Clinton from a pizza joint.

Anybody who listens to them probably also thinks that the earth is flat, no human ever visited the moon and Elvis and Hitler are still alive.

That's an odd claim. Besides the fact that both almost certainly did, the email release was part of the Russian propaganda. Remember how they were released, with misleading emphasis and excerpted out of context to imply things that didn't hold up if you read the full email thread.

Regarding Comey, it seems it was more specifically the NYC office, but there were absolutely divisions in the FBI and fear of them leaking to Giuliani and the Republicans accusing him of not saying anything drove him. Of course, the irony remains that if he had just followed protocol in the first place, he wouldn't have been in that situation. But Comey is clearly kind of an ass who is full of himself.

Sam, I honestly can't tell what you're asking for here. Which opinionated and obfuscating statements are we talking about? The dossier? Mine?

I mean,if you really want me to, I can go back and look through the dossier and put up a list of what we've seen confirmed and what we've seen disproven. Or, more accurately, what we've seen show up as "this basically did happen, but it was X, not Y who did it" kind of stuff. But I thought you didn't like long, quote-by-quote stuff and even more importantly, I don't think the dossier is that relevant? It wasn't the original source of the investigation, it isn't the basis of any of the indictments, it wasn't used in the campaign... It got a lot of press because it came out in a shocking way during the transition but it's largely a footnote now.

I predict that trump will be crippled in the upcoming mid term elections and in his frustration will act much more stupid than he is acting now. He will not get a second term because America ( and the world ) is sick of him.

Papadopoulos' sentence? It's all Greek to me!

Told ya. The Mueller Counsel has a flair for drama and overkill in a scorched earth approach to anyone tied to the Trump campaign.

Sincerely as an American and not a partisan, I'm glad Papadopoulos didn't get destroyed more than necessary. He was never a key player and made a minor error in judgement. If Manafort and Cohen have violated serious laws they should get the appropriate sentencing nothing more, nothing less.

Congress is crippled and has been crippled. What would be new?
Trump will keep putting his stamp on the Court system, trade, international relations and the regulatory environment.
There will be a lot of those sham House hearings like Benghazi and Fast & Furious, but this time with the Trump Administration.
Trump who is actually more pragmatic than his opponents and the press will ever allow to be acknowledged will float more deals like permanent DACA for funding for the wall. Dems will risk being viewed as obstructionist.

Pense is upset that Obama is criticizing Trump in his recent speeches.
Does the man forget who started this fight with his insults and lies.

I don`t want Trump impeached because the alternative ( Pense ) is worse.
I want them soundly defeated in the next election.

That's true. And not only Pense. Look at Cruz. Look at fucking Bannon who will think about making a return if Trump's gone.

The absolute disdains of the government and any small social initiative will make the USA implode.

On many matters, yes. He doesn't need to cut deals on Supreme Court Justices so that's not an area that needs compromise. I think an immigration deal could be banged out. I think he would (and has signaled that he would) compromise on healthcare. He has already targeted Big Pharma and I'm sure Big Insurers are on his radar. Problem is most of his party doesn't have the balls to take on big donors.

Whether you like Trump or not, it disappoints me that so many people don't understand populism. It's ideological! It's different! It doesn't follow norms! It seems to be whatever the attacker wants you to believe. You have to follow the ball not what the play by play broadcaster is saying.

This is where it gets contentious. Partisan liberals will say Republicans obstructed Obama for six years so why should Dems negotiate. The question is when did Obama ever off a deal with Congress. I can't even remember a true budget being negotiated in that period. Not that budgeting is any better now.

I would like Trump to calmly go on television like Reagan and say here's the deal. Call your Congressmen. No one is going to get everything they want. Their wildest political dreams will never be fulfilled.

Whether it's appropriate or not, he's going to be laughing all the way to the bank. He's going to make "Clinton Cash" look like chump change.
