Is it me or there is like 10 times more firing and "resignation" in one year of Trump versus 8 of Obama?

Trump will get Mueller eventually.

What a fucking mess this white house is. It's really scary for all the democratic countries... Look at the UK. All the one that sold Brexit left the house as they do not want to be responsible for the failure of what they sold...

Cheers,

Jalimon, do you understand the dynamics of the Rosenstein situation? Anyway, it's irrelevant he didn't resign or get fired today.

As far as the UK, aren't those who sold Brexit leaving Parliament and the Cabinet so that they might challenge Theresa May's leadership?

These two things have something in common. If you're going to challenge your boss' leadership, you come out of the weeds and announce your intent. You don't try to pretend to be in service to the Administration all the while trying to undermine it.

Trump is going with "China will interfere to help the Democrats" as his excuse for any future losses. Not really surprising.

This is a direct Chinese attempt to influence public opinion before an American election. This will be reported on page 33 of the New York Times under the obituaries next to the ads for funeral services.[/QUOTE]

You misunderstand me. It is well known foreign groups are going to try even harder now that Russia showed how easy it is. The GOP has been consistently shooting down attempts to harden our defenses on it. But most of us expected Trump would start saying China or Russia was going to help the Democrats. (You will notice he will not follow up by spending money on the problem or passing laws to shore up the defenses.) I am just noting he has chosen China as the one he will promote.

The Chinese Gov't has been uploading propaganda videos against Trump tariffs recently. I have to give props to YouTube for stating the source of this propaganda as the Chinese Gov't. The Chinese Gov't have decimated the U.S. middle class for the past 20 yrs. - wage growth has been zero, until very recently. I give Trump props for attempting to bring back manufacturing to U.S. and closing the trade deficit, and combating theft of U.S. intellectual property. As far as U.K. goes - it's too late. U.K. is projected to be majority muslim by 2050. They are fucked. Brexit will only slow down the Muslim immigration/invasion. London murder rate now tops that of New York City. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...er-rate-higher-than-new-york-citys/480860002/

There is no misunderstanding. Of course, any action that Trump takes with the Russians will be under a microscope. Any Trump comment about China trying to influence the election will be criticized as obfuscating Russian intervention.

The Chinese cloaking anti-tariff propaganda as editorial material might have a better appearance than Russian Facebook misinformation. I heard if you looked closely you could find that it was sponsored by China Daily. That's at least a little transparent.

Clearly any propaganda that is anti-tariff is de-facto anti-Trump, anti-Republican. For God's sake, we're less than six weeks away from an election. It's a strange new world.

Valcazar, do you have an unbiased source with specifics that say the Republicans are not tough on foreign interference in our elections? China is a longer-term threat to the U.S. and the West. I can give you many reasons, that frankly seems very evident, that China does not favor Trump's policies. All of this is inconvenient to the current narrative coming from the liberal press in the U.S.

When Lenin allegedly said "the Capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them.” I'm afraid he was talking about the Chinese who are very good at chameleon-like behavior.

Actually, I'd love to see the piece and how it was presented. Because "Foreign government takes out an ad saying 'We are your friends!' " is hardly new. China has definitely been doing it for years, the Canadian government buys ads in papers here in Canada. I have vague recollections of the US and Canada both doing that to each other before the original NAFTA deal, but that was years ago, obviously.

A major narrative of the liberal media for almost two years is that Russia is a threat to our elections and even the possibility of Russian collusion. The threat of China to our elections is inconvenient to the Russian narrative. You're convinced that most of the media is not biased. I am convinced otherwise.

We used to have an education acronym and slogan RIF "Reading is Fundamental". As I read the article, the headline was more definitive than the nuance in the article.

Opponents of the amendment said they want to see how the states spend the 2018 grant money before they appropriate more. Sending money to states “would just be another step maybe towards convincing the states that somebody besides them is going to be responsible for elections in their state,” said Sen. Roy Blunt (R., Mo.), chairman of the Senate Rules Committee. “That shouldn’t be the case, it won’t be the case.

Canada
I'm hearing tonight that Canada has reached a deal with the Un-united States of America and Mexico in regards to NAFTA. I'm also hearing that final details need to be ironed out & that details of the new agreement will be announced tomorrow.

The Un-united States of America slapped Trudy upside the head and slapped Canada's chief negotiator Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland on the ass. We, the U-uSA, need to explore with Chrystia those foreign affairs responsibilities a little more when we're done fighting over trade. You know what they say about make-up sex.

I think Trudeau overplayed his hand. This is where the biased, liberal media in North America gives a naive politician like Trudeau a false sense of his negotiating position. Most Americans don't think much about foreign trade. It's not a big deal in most our lives. For those of us who have livelihoods affected by trade, more probably benefited from Trump's NAFTA policies. So Trudeau believed the bullshit that all politics in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA are defined by the media's selective view of Trump. Non imbécile Trudeau, we can look at our situation vis-à-vis the world without forever bringing Trump into our thinking.

One time I walked into a gas station convenience store while my car was being filled. I caught a glimpse of a dead body laying in the back store room. I ran out, got my gas and drove off.

What's the point of the story?

It's the fuckin' Mideast. Get your gas and drive off!

Where I belong.
I have no idea what you mean about "inconvenient to the current narrative coming from the liberal press in the U.S", I honestly don't know of any pro-china liberals.

As for the other - I am under the impression you consider the WSJ valid?

Well, since the very notion of a "liberal press" is a myth, there is unlikely to be such a narrative. Most of the press in the US is owned by large corporations and is hardly liberal. There are certainly liberal blogs. And there are crazyman blogs such infowars and outright propaganda arms like Breitbart. And, of course, the President* has his very own propaganda arm at Faux News, but "liberal press." Gimme a break.

I will grant you that Fox News is biased towards the Republicans. What's interesting is that there are daytime news anchors on Fox who are vocally less than enthusiastic for Trump. I can't find that kind of differentiation on MSNBC and CNN. In fact in 2017, MSNBC pushed out former Fox anchor Greta Van Susteren who towed a dangerous neutral line.
