As Quebec gets set to roll out its COVID-19 vaccine passport, thousands gather in Montreal to demonstrate against the plan.

MONTREAL -- Thousands of citizens gathered in Montreal Saturday to voice their displeasure at the Quebec government's plans to implement a COVID-19 vaccine passport to enter restaurants, bars, gyms and certain non-essential venues.

Organizers from Québec Debout say the "Non a la passe sanitaire!" (No to the health pass) demonstration is to show the discriminatory aspect of the passport.
The group was also behind protests against public health measures last May.

"The planned implementation of the health pass (proof of vaccination for restaurants, cinemas, sports teams, educational institutions, etc...) is an unprecedented prejudice for the population and is highly discriminatory," the event page reads. "We must say no together."

We can do all we can to protect the weak ones including vaccines, offering them free protection equipements and highly sugestkng them to stay home during the crisis including "PCU" but after that damn it let the rest live... enough with the fear mongering nonsense.

On remarque grandement une presque dictature au travers des médias les plus connus d'imposer la vaccination à tous (adieux la décision éclairé, ça ne semble plus important maintenant).

Dans plus ou moins 15 jours on commence la segregation..

On a eu 4 mois de mesures de guerre sans guerre...

For some reason I don’t think the government considers you that important that they care whatever you do or where you go. They just want to make sure you are vaccinated and if you are not then well I guess you will have no problem staying away from these places.

The deaths in Quebec right now are really low. The stats of (i think) friday...

And like every outside protest before, there won't be any major outbreak... i guess the winds are always on our side


The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:

• 426 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 380,833;
• 367,029 people have recovered;
• 0 new deaths, for a total of 11,242 deaths;
• 80 hospitalizations, for a decrease of 1;
• 27 people in intensive care, for a decrease of 1;
• 17,844 samples conducted on August 11.

Je sais pas comment un vote pourrait changer de quoi, le parti libéral du Québec et le parti Québécois ont déja annoncé qu'ils sont en faveur du passeport sanitaire. Ils veulent juste un débat pour avoir de l'attention médiatique et demander de petites modifications mais en général ils sont pour le passeport sanitaire.

Pour un référendum, avec environ 83% qui sont déja vaccinés et seulement 17% anti-vaccins je peut déja te prédire le résultat du référendum...
