Call me out CS if you have something to say. Listen guy, my motives are for guys to post reviews and have fun.

I started here back from the beginning and posted a shitload of reviews to help indirectly promote this board and i did the same at Merc. Never posted for the boards but rather for me and guys that ask me for help.

So don't start with your conspiracy theories about me. If all boards shut down tommorow, I'm still hobbying just as well as I'm mostly a giver rather than a taker from boards.

Nobody pays for my hobby expenses besides me so enough with your idiotic conspiracy theories. .

A little clarification is needed here. I never either did or meant to imply that BB has anyone paying for his hobby expenses or that he was in a conspiracy. Rather, I believe his friendship motives with posters at MERC may have clouded his judgment. The advertisers remark was in recognition that our fervent posting was moving the agency’s nightly posting downwards on the boards. In these economic times, posting for agencies can be of importance to the SPs and agencies alike.

I have the right to laugh about 3 guys versus a whole bunch. It's funny, that's all.

REVIEWERS BRING THE TRAFFIC, not the agencies and not the guys posting thousands of non-review posts.

I'll leave, I really don't care. People can find my reviews if they want.

I would like to express my total digust for what was posted by Ina Bioni a few hours ago and ask members talking for the MERB side of the issue to stick to the facts. The balance of the facts is overwhelmingly on our side, especially in the view of any objective reader wanting to make up his mind based on rationality and a minimum knowledge of the law.

The post was removed as soon as I was made aware of it. Unfortunately moderators are not psychic and are unable to see posts before they are made. The member has been permanently banned and if he attempts to log on with a different handle it will be banned as well.

Now, while mods are not psychic, we are also not stupid and are able to read other boards. From his posts on merc, it is quite obvious that Bigboyeddie has no interest in attempting to partake in any serious discussion regarding the problems between the boards. As such he is no longer a member of MERB and has been banned permanently.

Hello Roland,

Even if I had allowed that video to remain on the board, no laws would have been broken. It was a video that is readily available from a reputable Canadian news source, posted on their website, and available to anyone with an Internet connection. It was removed because it was in violation of MERB rules, not for violation of any law.

I differ with you on this point. While I was made aware of it privately by another poster, no one publicly connected MERC's Tom to this video. Sorry, I can't support or make excuses for what occurred here. However, I do realize that not everything can be caught moments after it's posted. In that respect I think the members of MERC are being unreasonable.

Hello Roland,

We do not put members on moderation. Our members follow MERB's rules of posting and behavior or they are suspended. We are very upfront about that and every member who is suspended for breaking the rules is listed in the Suspended Members thread in the lounge. We do not keep secrets here and have always been very open about our moderation and have always answered any member's questions openly on the board. Members do not decide MERB policy or how the board is moderated.

As has been mentioned by a number of members in this thread, both boards used to co-exist in peace, the mention of the opposing board being forbidden. We would be more than happy to return to that position. Unfortunately, Tom is unwilling to listen to that proposal. This thread will eventually come to an end once the members feel they have had their say. At that point, MERB will return to our standard policy of forbidding mention of other boards as well as former and banned members who cannot reply for themselves. If merc wishes this to happen at a faster pace, the option for Tom is very simple: remove all mention of this board and our members from merc and return to the days of peaceful co-existence.

We have gotten this far with no need for moderating our members' posts, I think we can continue that way with no difficulty.

In regards to mention of competing boards, you will find that this is a common policy on message boards of all types. If you wish to see the results of the lack of such a policy, you do not have to look very far for an example.

Moderation is a pretty good tool.

I can`t see how a board can manage to forbid members mentioning other boards or members.
These are discussion forums and the members share the same product.(accidental pun)

But these are the rules here and I respect that.

Oh! man, You’re cutting my fun for god sake. I respect your decision, but I think that when the MERC defenders come here, and suddenly become accountable for what they say, we should try to keep them in.

Now a word to bigboyeddie.

I wish to apologize for calling you a troll. After reading one of your posts here, I will give you the benefit of the doubt. I think you have simply fallen in the trap of Dissection Tools, like, I must admit, an incredible number of hobbyists, including some of the brightest ones.

I will give you the answer to the two questions I have asked you. Firstly, I (gugu here, gus on EQ and odilon on MERC before having been banned with no reason given after a pm to Tom asking him to delete a private information on the location of a Quebec GT spreaded by Dissection Tools) am not the owner of EQ and I never had, do not have and do not project to have any direct or indirect interest in the business of sex nor any business related to the sex industry. The info you have read on merc was provided by Pedro, Athana’s …, to Dissection Tool and spread on MERC by the later. I am quite sure you would have retracted if I had told you this.

Secondly, I have never had personal issues with any MERC or MERB advertiser except with Athana who accused me of being Cleopatra and who started a forum with the obvious purpose of brigning down EQ. I came in defense of EQ. Feel free to ask any of them. Melyssa has never been an advertiser on neither board, to my knowledge, and she has retired. I had a good and fun board relation with her on EQ. It seems that she came on MERC after retiring from the business under the nick of Client de Choix (I cannot attest if it is her or not) and started firing on me, apparently trying to surpass DT in the art of trolling, for my position on prostitution, a position that is stated very simply: 1 I am in favor of a total decriminalization and legalization of prostitution in Canada and 2 I think the sex workers themselves should take a total control of the sex industry. If I remember well, I have never responded publicly to these attacks by Melyssa. I have had private discussions with her on MSN. These discussions will of course remain private. I never register any private discussion on MSN anyway for ethical reasons. I am quite sure you would have retracted if I had told you this.

I'll ask Tom and the guys not to mention your names any longer if you are being honest with me. However, if I find out that you guys have some type of sick, evil or criminal motives hurting women that could be your daughters. (I'm 34 btw) I WILL CALL YOU OUT myself. I don't believe guys would take the time out to harass you unless they have a good reason. I promise to investigate and find out.

1 You go back to MERC and search where you got the information from concerning the two statements you have made here and on which have I have asked you to retract. Once you find the source, I will ask you to do with the authors exactly the same thing I did with you: to prove or retract.

2 Once you have done that, I will propose to you a meeting in Montreal and help you in your investigation.

3 You decide yourself after your investigation who you decided to call out. I guess you will experience for yourself what many have experienced here and sadly react with strong emotions like the others.
