I agree that both candidates are liars. Even if I didn't believe that Trump stealing from desperate people with his Trump University and not paying contractors is worse, his racial and sexist slurs, encouraging of violence, nonsensical policies - trickle down economics, building a wall etc., complete, wilful and proud ignorance of foreign and domestic affairs disqualify him from office.
Suppose that you have a choice of whom to fly your plane- a lousy, but experienced pilot who you personally dislike or a completely untrained passenger who asserts that he knows more about flying than all the pilots in the country. Whom do you pick?

First any lawyer can tell you how heavily edited and slanted for their own benefit any testimony being given is from what they know of the truth. We know political candidates are especially motivated and careful to put out only what they want their audiences to think about them. Even Trump, as off-the-cuff as he seems, tells his audiences only what he whats them to believe for his benefit. Proof of that is his changing view of Hillary and the Clinton's ON CAMERA when it suits different purposes.
