I believe that the recent email thing is much to do about nothing. Even Comey admitted he didn't have a clue what was on Anthony Wiener's hard drive (since he would have needed a subpeona at the time to look at it), but leaks coming from the FBI indicated that some of the emails found on it weren't from Hillary Clinton, but they had possibly went through her server.
I also spoke to my IT guy...but a girl in my case...and EB is the closet to the truth here. But it's the worse-case scenario and from what i've gathered is that the so-called Huma Abedin emails found on the Anthony Wiener hard driver were very likely duplicates that had already been read a few months ago and likely did not contain any confidential information.
Look, even former Republican law makers and justice officials are complaining about how the FBI director handled this issue. He created a bad precedent for future FBI directors by holding a press conference last July about an ongoing investigation. He also erred in stating his personal opinion on the issue, which is a no-no for an FBI director, especially when the investigation in question was politicized by Clinton's political rivals. Many (including Republicans) were absolutely flabbergasted at his recent stunt, especially since we've now found out he disobeyed a direct order from his bosses. Two of my former employees learned the hard way that you never disobey a direct order from your superior and if so you better be ready to face the consequences. Many current and former lawmakers (including Republicans) have hinted that James Comey should step down not only for insubordination, but for other transgressions which are unbecoming of the FBI.
Now we're hearing that the FBI is also investigating Donald Trump and people associated to him for their ties to the Russians. We're also hearing that the Russians had targeted Trump as far as ten years ago and have set him up to be blackmailed if he ever becomes President. This information comes from a former spy whose expertise was Russia. We're also hearing that the FBI is now investigating how Trump illegally avoided paying taxes in the 90's. We're also hearing that Trump never paid a dime to charity in the last couple of decades and often would sneak into charity events and then sneak out as fast as he could in order to give the impression that he was among the donors. And then there's the Trump U fraud scandal, the charges he had sex with a minor, the investigation on whether or not he bribed a Florida AG in order to get her to drop her investigation into Trump U, etc. And of course, the fact dozens of women have accused him of sexual assault. I'm sure there are dozens if not hundreds more who have yet to come forward and likely will not.
Me thinks that Donald Trump may be the one actually going to jail one of these days.
