How do you guys feel when a girl asks you to do this on a website?

I really don't like the idea of giving out my full personal information. You never know where that info is going to, or if it will be used against you. Also, I think maybe she is an undercover cop. Or, she just wants you to enter your credit card info, pay a minimal amount, and never hear from her again, meaning that is how she makes her money.....getting you to do this with no intention of ever meeting you. Can anyone say whether this is a safe thing to do?

Given the nature of this business, requesting any information for 'verification' is not something I can see as being in the realm of reasonable.

First off, if it is being done to ferret out cops, it is a complete waste of time - it is trivial to adopt a fake persona good enough to pass any bullshit 'you have to give us a credit card' test.

Secondly, providing that information to an escort agency leaves you open to investigation and public humiliation should the agency be under investigation, and also open to personal identity theft.

All in all a very very bad idea with no justification at all behind it. I strongly suggest should you ever encounter such a request to move on, immediately, to the next big titty blond. There's no shortage of them.

When I used to see visiting Montreal escorts who traveled to Boston I was asked for this information. I NEVER gave it...and I was never denied a meeting. This is a "no-brainer". Don't do it.

- Very recently, an independent escort who lists a number of conditions on her website was travelling overseas to meet a client. Once at destination, the custom agent questioned her on the nature of the trip to which she replied, among other reasons, 'to meet a friend'. When the custom agent asked her the name of the said friend she got thrown off, couldn't come up with a fake name and, feeling pressured, gave out the client's real name (which is now on customs record).

It's too bad for escorts who do honour their commitments to privacy but this total lack of care while handling clients private information gives escorts a bad name.

Thats scary, but doesnt surprise me.....I wonder if some indie escorts I've seen in the past are using my real name and info as references when traveling to my city.

Regardless if unblocking your number is standard practice or nor (it's not btw), the important thing is not how ''we'' feel about it but how ''you'' feel about it.

If meeting that specific escort is important to you to the point of taking such risks well go ahead. If not, there are plenty of girls out there who are not that picky.

Perhaps.......however it's nice to get feedback. If someone posted that they got screwed because they did reveal their identity, then it would be a no brainer. Same goes if many posted no issues with having revealed their identity.

However, in a business where the workers and management can not be held strictly accountable in any legal court by the client it would be foolish to be too trusting. I don't think everyone has an agenda of exploitation, and a few ladies I know have been as generous as anyone I ever knew. But, in an "under the table" business based on the value of one's word, the word of faceless strangers where there is no true legal recourse, the opportunity for gross abuse must be kept in mind at all times. Always be careful to protect yourself and your financial assets, and pick those you call a friend in this business very carefully.

Its not the faceless strangers you have to watch out for, it's those that you break bread with and drink....

I dont think everyone has an agenda of exploitation as I've meet some good people, as well as those looking to exploit and manipulate. They eventually show their true face as they're lies upon lies come back to expose their true nature.

I agree that you should pick those you call a friend in this business very carefully....
