Hi Guys,

I'll be going to Montreal soon, and this will be my first visit. So, I got a question.

Where can you buy condoms and lubrication (KY Liquid) around downtown area?

If you can let me know some where close to Holiday Inn Select (99 VIGER AVE & ST. URBAIN ST.), that would be great.

Also, Will it be both French and English on those products? (Sadly, I don't know any French)

Thanks in advance :p

MODS: This thread should probably be moved to the Lounge.

justchilling,

The Holiday Inn Select is in Chinatown. If you walk two blocks north on St. Urbain to the corner of Rene Levesque, look across the street and to your left and you will see the Complex Dejardins which is basically a shopping mall. In the Complex Desjardins, there is a pharmacy (forgot the name of it) and an IGA supermarket where you can buy condoms, KY jelly, and anything else you need. There is also a liquor store, a food court, several ice cream and candy stores, a dry cleaner, and a bank, among other things in this Complex.

If this is true which I have no doubt that it is, right across the street is an independant pharmacy (not part of the big chains) and you'll be able to get condoms there.

SeeCupRider,

There is no reason for him to walk all the way up to St. Denis to purchase condoms when he can walk two blocks to the Complex Desjardins, unless of course he is interested in strolling down that portion of St. Catherine to observe its seediness.

Agreed, I have used the place at Complex Desjardins and it should have just about everything you will need.

La Capoterie is good for getting condoms that you would not find in traditional stores.

For example, they have the thin Japanese condoms, amongst other different types.

Yes Kimono, thinnest on the market but also most expensive
3 for 8$

What I like at la capoterie is they sell condoms in bulk

A pack of 30 lifestyle condoms for 12$

I'm not altogether sure if the original post is completely serious. The French condoms work the same as the English. If you really need to use the instructions, I suggest asking your partner for help.

Condoms are available in the same places you find them anywhere else. Pharmacies, corner shops, etc. You could also bring your own from home if you are worried about being lost in Montreal without a raincoat. If you intend to use the items with a service provider, it has been my experience that the girls will bring rubbers and any lube which might be needed. I recommend buying a backup out of one of the machines in the mens rooms in most bars or strip clubs. One dollar, and you don't need to shell out for a whole box.
