I just saw a close up shot of the Russian coaches face. She is younger and much prettier than I thought. Looks around late twenties but is older, and has a gorgeous face. I still don`t like her couching methods , but Putin must, because it gets results and brings gold medals. She`d probably make a great Dom in another life.

Not really sure I understand this. But what they seem to be saying is that one bad apple gets to spoil everyone else's fun if the one bad apple happens to be a minor.

It`s simple. The investigation is not complete and will be finished only after the Olympics. Therefore they don`t want to give out medals now that they may have to change if Valieva is disqualified after the final verdict. The irony is that as a 15 year old she is considered protected and thus not responsible, but if her coach or doctor are found guilty....she suffers too . Lots of pressure on this young girl.
So what you are basically saying is fuck you to the other two girls who lawfully medal with Valieva - if she medals (which I hope she doesn't as this will be a spectacle). What did the other two girls do to deserve to have their medal ceremony taken away? How about having a ceremony for the 2 lawful medalists? Or you never heard of such a fair idea?
Why are you agreeing with the idea that cheaters get to drag others down with them??!! No!!

The USA is a disappointing 4th in medals behind Norway, ROC, and Germany, while Canada is an even more disappointing 6th with just 2 gold medals:
Unfortunately the US hockey team, which was the top seed, got knocked out in the quarters by Slovakia in a shootout, and failed to medal. The US women's hockey team will medal after tonight's game against Canada, the question is will that medal be a gold or silver?
