Would you like a follow-up contact from your independent provider after an encounter?

Years ago when i mostly saw indys, a few of them would sneak a little card either under my door or in the bathroom prior to leaving, telling me they had a great time and hoped that we'd see one another again. I found that it was a nice touch.

Another called me about an hour after she had left my room one night and told me she had a very nice time and suggested we meet for lunch the next day. I told her i'd give her a call in the morning to exchange our coordinates. Well, when i got in touch with her, she sounded a bit embarrassed and admitted that she may have had a little too much to drink the previous night. We did wind up meeting for lunch about a month later...with a common friend of ours. She barely spoke during lunch and we never met again. I had since met her sister (also in the biz) and had really hit it off with her.

As for the question on whether or not a 'provider' should contact me, it depends on how the encounter went. If it's legit and she really enjoyed our time together, no problem. But every circumstance is different.

I usually send a little e-mail soon after. It's nice to say thank you and there's always little things to add to our last conversations.

I originally answered no mainly because I value discretion. Certainly would not like to receive a text or an email at an “embarrassing” time – as it almost happened when I got an text from a asian provider with a picture!

So NO to a text or email communications. But I would be opened to a pm exchange on the Merb board.

I’m also OK with a follow-up text by a booker (say 30-60 minutes after end of a meeting) to see if was satisfied.

So even some of those who answer no would accept under the right conditions. As I thought, with a fairly steady 65% in favor, and more who want further options for contact, we have a very strong positive answer.

Personally I always sent a text or email back to the lady to tell her how much I appreciate the time with her, but it would be nice to hear back from her before I do.

She being sincere and genuine during our encounter is what counts. The after encounter marketing is not necessary. If I want to see her again and she quickly replies tells all.

After our encounter I go on with my life moving forward please do the same. If it was great/amazing you will definitely hear from me again.

That is what is great about this hobby. As long as the parties are available it is timeless. No what ifs.

Don't we all, ita? When I first started to hobby, my own education was actually pretty high on the list. Cute, naive, innocent boy... But only in-session was helpful. I would be highly dubious of anything afterwards - as noted, marketing... Now that I think of it, I can't remember any real feedback of use post-session, ever... Sad. So I may still just absolutely suck. Hahaha.... :lol:

But that's in regards to feedback on performance. As to staying in touch because we were courteous, nice and fun to spend time with, yes, that is a nice touch.

I would say yes. I have sent thank you's to ladies after a session and receiving them in turn would be nice. Is it marketing? Maybe I'm marketing myself when I send her a thank you, so she'll remember me for next time. I'd rather not be so cynical and just enjoy the time we had together. And if I send her a thank you, what I really mean is Thank You for saving me from going completely bonkers! You ladies are life-savers!

I would say yes as well. I know it is kind of artificial, but I like to make human contact. A nice part of the experience, though prefer on email because I have an account no one sees, whereas with text sometimes family can see...
