It's not minuscule at all. The statistics are horrifying. They will see anyone at an ER, but if they decide you are intoxicated when you are having a stroke because of the colour of your skin, you may very well die due to racism. This sort of thing happens so much more often than anyone wants to hear. Yes our healthcare is shit and fuck the government who are fighting to make it worse, but take a trip down pubmed lane and you will find mortality and morbidity vs race and/or gender statistics that are shocking and undeniable.
There has to be a power at play if we are going with a certain definition of racism. The oppressed can discriminate but can't be accuse of racism unless they yield the power

I never said that only white people can be racist. I've witnessed people of other races be racist. I just said you can't be racist to white people in North America. And yes I have been outside of Canada and North America. Many times. I know that in some countries white people get discriminated against, but learn a bit about history of colonialism and how Europeans and then North Americans fucked up a lot of countries. You underestimate me. I respect you and think you're a very intelligent and kind person, but don't underestimate me.
