LE does not give a crap about that. They won't mingle with the client lists. Especially since many of their own names will be in them haha
They are in a position to pick and choose a subset they believe is easier to criminate which may or may not include the most frequent "loyal" visitors.

As for phone number owners, while cellular companies may not keep the old text and call logs, they do keep the owner information as far as back to eternity these days.

Especially since you mentioned “young, horny, underemployed, underpaid and undersexed young men”. These men arent affording sex work services
When I was 18-25 I absolutely couldn't afford it, plus I was still involved in traditional dating. The best job I had ages 18-25 between college and starting law school was making $8 an hour managing a pizzeria back in the 1980s. I did make cash tips delivering the pies, on a good night I made maybe $60-$75 in tips on top of the $8/hour. Even then I really couldn't do anything with that money, plus I was still actively dating. It wasn't on my radar to even think about escorts, even though I was very horny.

Never say never. They can if they wanted to. Time to consider using a burner phone for all future bookings. Agencies should be deleting all texts and phone numbers from their phones. Canada is becoming more and more like the US. Better safe then sorry.

I swear they aren't deleting the texts. I don't do this activity often but agencies' responses tell me they have my old texts from months prior. I can bet this can be easily tested.

I know and that is a bad practise. They are not doing clients any favors. I hardly use escorts either way and I will just skip it for a long time till they get their act together and delete the texts and numbers.

Alright lets break this down…

For starters, how many 18-25 year old men have the money to access this service? Given today’s rates, i don’t see many active particpants, so lets say this was true, the government/police crack down to take away maybe 0.5% of that age group from accessing sex work? It’s bonkers to me.

Especially since you mentioned “young, horny, underemployed, underpaid and undersexed young men”. These men arent affording sex work services
They would have a better chance with shutting down TikTok and Instagram.

Is it only me who thinks that to run an agency in Montreal, you need to have a cut for the mob? I wrote earlier about the meaning that agencies have to buy 'security'.

If it's not the guys in the double-breasted suits, it's going to be the boys in blue. When it comes to pretty girls and lots of money, everyone will want a cut.

One thing I find interesting is XO's site is still active. That does not make sense to me. Would LE not shut down the website?
Why would you expect the site to be down? The agency is likely saying they’re engaged in no wrong doing, and Xo attorneys aren’t suggesting to take it down.

LE probably doesn’t have authority to take it down, and if it’s hosted overseas….good luck.

Why would prosecutors go after clients? How would they accurately secure their contact information?

Wireless companies don’t give up data very easily. Prosecutors would need a court order, and even then…. AT&T would likely not relinquish information because Tiffany and Steve met up in a hotel room. You’d need to give them a better reason. For God’s sake, there is controversy about how much data wireless companies were willing to share regarding suspected terrorists.

Maybe because I’ve seen these stories countless times in the US that I don’t share in the paranoia. From a client’s perspective, this is a nothing burger. If you went down to the police station and said, “I’m turning myself in for being an XO client,” they’d probably kick your ass out the door thinking you’re fucking with them. They don’t care.

> How would they accurately secure their contact information? If they have the court order that is good enough for the cellular companies give up all information they have available on listed numbers. The case hasn't been completed yet, I don't think it has even gone to trial yet so who's to say they won't try to obtain a court order in the future?

It makes sense to take it down no? They are being charged with pimping. Still to be proven in court. I suspect they just do not got the authority to do it, the website may even have a password. XO uses a .com domain which is hosted in the US.

A court order for two people meeting up in a hotel room? Maybe in Tehran they’d get a court order….

XO could take the site down if they wanted, but if I believed I was innocent I wouldn’t. This could also be a fuck you to the prosecutors.

Like I said, this is yesterday’s news next week at this time.

And how are they going to prove you they deleted the texts and messages so that you'll be convinced?

Agencies don't delete texts and your number if you contacted them in the past. There is no way to convince but there are enough clues that they infact do not delete.

so Maya's angel website is down and they stopped posting on merb on Feb 16.... .in link with this story or is it the next story to come out??
Maya's has not been very consistent for a while. They didn't post daily, their website had SPs who had not worked for months. I often saw "Maya's providers" advertise on LL as indies. I don't personally think it has anything to do with the recent situation in this thread. More simply that this "agency" had other issues. It started out as a massage parlor, then became an incall agency, but they were charging the prices of indies and many of their providers were offering safe services only. I assume they were not rolling on cash and bookings like other agencies. So its possible they simply decided to shut down. For instance you can find Selena on LL today.

It is Bonkers to me as well.
This is revenue for the governement. They will not admit it, it's not a good political vue to do so.
But they did the same thing with heroin in the States during the Vietnam war.
Hell, Canada did the same thing with opium during the Afghan war.
We don't hear about it. It is kept on the down low.
They won't win those wars, so they choose to profit from it.

In my opinion. You keep humans frustrated sexually for long enough, I am convinced, bad shit will go down.
Who's the philosopher that was saying he could end wars with blowjobs... (I'm paraphrasing.)

Sw also, I beleive helps keep sexual crime in check to some degree.
Yes it creates another set of issues.
Yes they are also exposed to violence or sexual crimes.
I think, this is where LE is trying to crack down on.
And this is the right place to put ressources into.
