During the F1 Grand Prix weekend, some girls ran away from the Laval Youth Center
Again? Maybe it's time to investigate why the Laval youth center is so horrible that it causes girls to run away from it all the time!
Those behind the anti-prostitution campaign had hoped that the disappearance of the girls meant that they "...had been lured into the sex trade that accompanies the Grand Prix." The truth turned out to be that "...police haven't turned up any evidence of that being the case."
Teen's temporary disappearance from group home raised fears of F1 sex trade

A teenage girl who fled a youth centre in Laval on Friday night has been located.
The 16-year-old girl's mother had reached out to Radio-Canada on Saturday morning, expressing fear she had been lured into the sex trade that accompanies the Grand Prix.
Laval police provided few details about the case, except to say the girl was in good health and had returned on her own accord.
Earlier this week, a human rights groups launched an awareness campaign about the increase in human trafficking and sexual exploitation that occurs during the popular F1 race. Montreal police are also campaigning about the dangers of the sex trade this weekend...
...Police would not confirm that the 16-year-old girl who went missing Friday was a resident at the youth centre.
They did, however, say that four teenagers — three girls and one boy — have disappeared from Laval since Thursday. Some of these teenagers have run away in the past, police said.
"Because the F1 is in town, that doesn't necessarily mean that's where they are," said Laval police spokesman Franco Di Genova.
Police locate 2 more missing Laval teens
2 additional teens still being sought by police

Montreal police have located two teenage girls who disappeared from Laval late last week.
Laval police said the girls were found in separate locations in Montreal. They have since returned home.
A total of five teens went missing from Laval between Thursday and Friday. One returned home Saturday afternoon. Two teens — one boy and one girl — are still being sought.
"We're very confident we will find them," said Franco Di Genova, a Laval police spokesman. "It might take another day or so, but we will find them."
Di Genova wouldn't provide further details about where police are looking for the remaining teens, so as not to compromise the investigation.
The mother of the teen who returned home Saturday initially expressed fears that her daughter had been lured by the sex trade that accompanies the F1 Grand Prix in Montreal.
But Di Genova said police haven't turned up any evidence of that being the case.
"At this point, nothing makes us believe that they're involved either in an escort service or prostitution," he said.
