Ok guys first of all i want to apologies as i did screw up. Its on me. But i can at least swear to you its inexperience and mistake, not bad attentions.

So what happen is i watching a movie but made sure to leave at 7:10 (well ill see the ending on VOD) to be sure to be there at 7:30. Arrived 7:15 or so.

I saw Judy, Kiki, Joe T, Christina and Genny Love outside. They were easy to spot. But this is where i realized i messed up.

There was some huge festival and the bar was JAM PACKED. Asked inside if there was a possibility for 6+ potentially 6 more and it was a big no.

I never expected it to be crowded like that. Can't say i go out party much in Montreal.

So Christina and Kiki left (Christina had a call) but Joe invited me to join the rest of them elsewhere.

At this point all i could had done is stay outside and tell every potential attendees that it was off or we need to just chill outside no drinks etc until everyone show up. It was not realistic.

So i followed Joe. I couldn't post cause i had no acces to internet.

Eventually trough Joe i got in contact with Michelle and she had picked up 2 guys there. So we did ended up in a way having a very mini GT but not as i intended.

Here's the thing. I couldn't reserve as there was too much "maybes" and no bar/resto would like a reservation for 12/13 to end up being 7/8. Its normal.Someone suggested to me taking a depot next time. The idea is good... But would it cold down peoples? Maybe.

But we learn from mistakes and once again i want to insist my intention was for it to work. The "no internet on my phone" made it impossible for me to communicate until i got in contact with Michelle.

But if there is a next time (and if you guys are not too mad at me for this messing up) ill plan in in more advance, take more infos on the venue, have peoples suggest one could help too. Basically ill do better.

For the ones that lost time and had to turn away once again my sincere apologies.

I want to specifically adress to Kiki that i didn't exchange much with you only cause i was stressed out of the situation and by nature i take a little bit of time to brush shyness with ladies. But im happy you came and i could see you even if it was brief.

I ultimately was able to get to know Genny, Michelle and 2 guys wich i had never met before. It was a fun evening once the fiasco of early was "brushed off". But i know it sucks for the ones who had to turn back.

Between that, Montreal Comic-Con and Montreal in the summertime in general, was bound to be a problem.

Anyways, that's a bummer that things didn't happen. Dunno what the solution to this would be. You can maybe choose a venue that's somewhat remote from the main downtown.

But really, the best solution is to just reserve a venue (especially if you know it's gonna be a lot of ppl).

Perhaps but i don't think it was that specifically as i did got into what looked like the Jazz festival as i exited Judy's place. I think its just St-Denis is turn into that festive street.

I still have many parts of Montreal to discover and reason why i picked downtown was because it would be easy to find/acces it for me on foot.

I mean i had to change the day a few days before and i was not sure if i wasn't gonna see another person Friday before GT. I had 2 person specifically in mind that if schedules would had matched, i may had book them around 6 so it had to close and easy to reach. Funny enough one was Jenny and she came to the GT so no work lol.

As for reserving a venue... This would need to be a huge GT for any place to accept this. And for guys to come in numbers it would mean securing many ladies and therefore incentives for them to come (at least certain ones) would be needed. Clearly im not ready at all to handle such planning at least alone.

My original idea was just to meet a few peoples for a beer casually. Even tough it was great that some ladies wanted to come, and they were very welcomed as i said, i wasn't originally "expecting it". It just got bigger quicker than i expected. Then throw summer/festivals etc in the mix and boom...
