Dominican Republic and Thailand are not developed countries at all, they are more developing countries, 2nd world countries, I would go as far to say that DR is borderline 3rd world country. The thing is market prices are based on the wages of the local market. Salaries in DR and Thailand are low which is why hobby prices are low. About US, I would have to agree with you it is the most hostile place on this planet for sex work. But price wise it is similar to Australia.
2nd world country was historically used for Communist countries.
Been to Thailand several times but twice I brought “coal to Newcastle”. First a HK gf and later with my wife from an East Asian country I’d rather not name. In the islands it was common to rent a motorcycle and a girl by the day or week. Lots of twenty something Brits.
Spent time with a young woman who piloted the elephant through the Golden Triangle. Try the full body “massage”. Describes as “they massage every part of your body with every part of their body.”
Avoid the katoeys unless that’s your thing.
Great vacation spot any way.
Manila was depressingly poor. Young HK guys paid $10 for 2 women for overnights. (A factory worker earned $50/month for 6 12 hour days/week.That was a long time ago.)
Was offered “starlets” by the local companies I did business with. One “Nightclub” like a supper club, had a “fishbowl” in the back.
A room with (one-way?) glass and a dozen women in pink T-shirts with a red heart name tag with a number. Hard to forget.
Macau had them too. That was before China got it back.
Would never in the US.
