I have mentioned in the past to keep personal comments and insults out of these threads. Now onto real issues.... I heard today that Ellsbury will be out 2 months and THEN they will decide if he needs surgery. What a huge blow if indeed he needs an operation. He would be gone until postseason.......oh what am i thinking, postseason/red sox :lol: Maybe Carl "The Truth" Crawford can come back and lead them, yea right, out of the basement maybe! :lol:

I was only made aware of the reprieve a few days later. However, i decided that i'd serve my suspension fully & would not accept any 'get out of jail' cards. I deserved to be suspended & wasn't going to be a little whiny bitch about it. I accepted it, dealt with it, and now i'm back.

The fact i chose to post on other boards has nothing to do with what happens here. I usually chose different personas on other boards and what happens elsewhere stays elsewhere. Even though i've been re-activated to post on this board's sports threads, i will continue to post on other boards of my chosing, including the blue board. Indeed, as you are quite aware, they absolutely despise you over there. Not hard to figure out why, i may say. You seem like the type of person who always winds up rubbing off negatively on people, and that even includes a few sps that you paid to pretend to like you.

Personally, you'd get run over by a truck & i wouldn't lose a second of sleep. I've never met you, i have no intention to, and if i can help it, it'll never happen. I usually like to befriend people who aren't full of themselves, enjoy life like i do, and don't constantly get on other people's nerves.

My sources tell me that Ellsbury will be out until mid-July. I've also heard that his shoulder will be re-evaluated in June & that's when they'll make the decision to operate or not. If they do operate, he's out until 2013. If they don't operate, which is what i believe will happen, he'll be back. However, his shoulder will have to be rehabilitated considerably before he's allowed to throw a ball & swing a bat.

As for Carl Crawford, my belief is that he'll be out for the rest of the season.

Good thing they still have Ortiz & Pedroia playing very well. This is a team in big trouble, and surprisingly, it's not the manager's fault. However, he's the one who will be paying the price once this current season ends once again in shame.

My estimate is that Ellesburry will return after the all-star break. As long as if his shoulder responds to treatment that is. If it doesn't, he might be forced to undergo shoulder surgery, which would put an end to his season.

I'm certainly no Yankee fan but very upset to see the incredible Mariano Rivera possibly end his career last night with a torn ACL while shagging fly balls in BP. This is not the way I wanted to see this classy competitor's career come to an end. Hopefully it's not as bad as first projected.

Congrats to Darnell "Ace" Mcdonald for throwing the PERFECT pitch to Adam Jones in the 17th inning in todays game at THE WASTE. mCdonald aint much of a hitter and sure is no "Ace" as a pitcher it would seem but he did help the red sucks lose, so Darnell my man, a big :thumb: to you!

Maybe he should take pitching lessons from Orioles "pitcher", Chris Davis lol........ also a nice congrats to cOdy rOss for getting the golden sombrero plus one for a total of 5, YES FIVE Strikeouts! What a great day this was in the 2012 red sox season, raise your glasses all to a toast for many many MANY more this season! :lol:

Fun game facts and notes.... ok so just one, the SUCKS now are the proud owners of 5 losses in a row.... Great way to start May you guys, keep up the good work and you will make me look bad by ending in the basement instead of 4th. :lol:

A very great delusional man once said that you don't look at baseball standings in early May, you look at them in October.


On a side note who will replace Bobby V when the eventual happens, I'd say none other than the great Don Zimmer himself, that is if he is still alive:smile:
