Nah-nah na nah-nah...Yankess suck Red Socks Suck Pllddddddddddd!!!! [My thumbs are in my ears and I am waving may hands at you while makeing the annoying Plldddddddd noise]. I know you are but what am I? My team (Detroit Tigers) is the best ever even though we have the lowest BA in league with the bases loaded and we have the biggest drop off in output from the 1-4 batters to the 5-9th batters and we went 1.5 months without winning back-to-back games.

Does anyone want to talk baseball? I posted something about the useless and misleading save stat and how mediocre relieveers are making big bucks because of it and no one commented. I commented that technology should be used to help MLB umpires do their job and that MLB umpires have the equivalent job security of a supreme court justince and Doc commented.

Is this just a forum where Red Socks fans taunt Yankees fans and vice versa?

Is that the same Derek Jeter whom 'forskin and the rest of his followers said was washed up 2 seasons ago
Guess who leads the AL in hits, that's right, Jeter, who looks like he is well on his way to collecting over 200 hits.

Nope, this is just a thread for that lol.... For "serious" baseball chat Hungry, it should be posted in the "Official 2012 Baseball Thread" (serious this, official that, isnt baseball just a game and not life and death?) With that, GO YANKEES! :D

Seriously, what's he doing? It almost seems like he's purposely sabotaging (with success!) Daniel Bard's career!

In the first place, Bard had no business being removed from the bullpen. Once Papelbon left the Beentown Zoo, it was simply natural that Bard would inherit the closer's role. But no!!!!!!!!! Valentine tries to turn him into his 5th starter, something Alfredo Aceves seemed better suited for!!

If the Red Sox don't want Danny Bard, i'm certain that Alex Anthopoulos wouldn't mind having him pitching out of his bullpen!

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, bobby V is doing just fine, lets just be thankful we have credible and great managers on the Jays and Yanks. How about Brett Lawrie leading off and going 3-5? And FINALLY Cody Rasmus swinging the hot bat the last cpl weeks including 5-5 last night? Hope this guy can be what many projected him to be. Jays have a bright future.

Does Bobby V. make the decision or does the general manager? Bard's alright. He just needs to pitch to the toothless Detroit Tigers more often.

It was bobby v's decision to make him a starter. His confidence has to be totally shot. Imagine being a MLB player and all the perks that come with it for a couple years and on your way to stardom and now your in the minors..... he may never recover and then again, he may. (damn, sounding like a fence setter again!) Help me Mr. T!

Nova pitched his best overall game as a Pro tonight. Nice to see him bounce back from a few inconsistent outings this season. Kid has all the tools, just needs to stay focused and pitch like himself and not pretend he is danny bard. :p

Red Sox bats went dead tonight & they wasted a decent outing by Josh "Popeye" Beckett, losing to the Baltimore Orioles by a score of 2-1.

Tough year for the BoSox, who are now back at the .500 level. Is it just a question of time before Cherington begins to clean house? Will Big Papi ask for a trade to a contending team? Kevin Youkilis anyone?
