Congrats to all the teams in the playoffs

Yes indeed. Congratulations to the 16 teams who proved that they deserve to make the playoffs. As for the 14 who couldn't cut the mustard, there's always next year to hope for.

Nathan McKinnon was the best of the rookie class, no doubt

Colorado is so stacked with young players..like they were when they were in Quebec City

I agree with all the choices. But who will win the Jack Adams (best coach)? Lots of great candidates out there. Roy, Hitchcock, Julien, Bielsma, Therrien, Boudreau. My pick would be Roy, but any of the others mentionned deserve serious consideration.

I would be surprised if Roy does not win. First year coaching in the NHL and took a team that was 29th in the entire league last year to 3rd overall this season.

With Datsyuk injured for most of the year Patrice Bergeron should be a lock for the Selke if there's any justice.

He would also be on my shortlist for the Hart (even though, realistically, he won't be nominated). The guy is a great all-around player as well as being probably the most courageous player in the NHL. He's easily ten times as valuable as some of these gutless prima donnas who just try to cherrypick and build up their offensive stats while being worth less than zero defensively.

Teams WIN when they have great all-around players like Bergeron (and Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Toews, and a few others).

Amen JC. He is just an absolute all-around perfect player! Plays the game the way it should be played from a class standpoint. Glad to have him on the B's!!!

A,s for the Hart trophy your viewpoint is right on. He may not have all the goals and assists but the leadership he plays with and the all-around awesomeness is a pleasure to watch every game. He won't receive it but no doubt he should be the MVP of the league.

I did not see the game but I read that Ginette Reno really fired up the fans with a great rendition of the Canadian national anthem. Will Reno be brought back Tuesday night with the hopes that a soaring national anthem will lead to fired up fans, an early goal and a 4 game sweep?

I heard she did. She may be back for tomorrow's game. I saw a picture of her singing the anthem and she reminded me of Philadelphia's Kate Smith back in the mid-70's.
