Well, that was an ugly series all around for Boston. What can be said, they blew it, with a little help from the zebras, but we won't go there, that's obvious to anyone who watched tonight's game.

7-1 for the Canadiens in the last 2 matches ! That' impressive but not representive of how tight was serie. Bruins played really well in the 3rd period and really could have tied.
Officials forgot the Marchand gestuire, and prefer to give 2mn to Chiara AND Pacioretty intead of just givin it to Chiara... Well, no consequences in the end...

The Eastern Conference Finals is beginning on Saturday at May 17th at 1pm in Montreal. Why they're playing the game at 1pm makes no sense to me at all.

Oh my god guys, we slain the beast, the evil empire of hockey crumbled in front of out feets !!! Those *&?%$#? are dead... at least for this year, seriously no words can describe the joy i had tonight... !!!! it was like watching my (futur) first son be born. or winning the war against anybody who would attack us... hell i almost had an orgasm when the timer said 0.0 left... I know the challenge to come is hard, the Rangers are a good team, especially since what Happened with St-Louis(a very good player) and i suspect the Hawks will win the West(what an hockey team...) but in any case

With the win last night, the Habs are now 25 - 9 all time versus the Bruins in the playoffs.
It's amazing to think that with the Bruins celebrating their 90th anniversary this year, the Canadiens have eliminated them 28% of the time, or on average just a bit over 1 out of every 3 years of their existence.
No wonder Bruins fans hate Montreal so much. :lol:

In the 2nd and 3rd the Bruins charged hard to attack and did well to keep the puck in the opponents end the majority of the time, but rarely seemed to have enough puck control to set up a real offensive perimeter and had few good shots. They seemed to be flailing much of the time, and the guys like Krejci and Bergeron, whose impact was necessary to win a series like this, didn't seem to have much effect. In contrast when the Canadiens brought the puck down they had better puck control and seemed to set up the offensive perimeter more cleanly and effectively. That goal by Pacioretty was ridiculously open and uncontested. But the biggest factor was Price's handling of shots. A large part of the Bruins effectiveness has been banging rebounds before the goalie could reestablish the best position. Rebounds last night were few when the Bruins were in the best positions to exploit any possibilities.
Acting like a Canadiens fan.
