THey need to finish 1st of the NE if they want to go far (not impossible but hard). So they could at least have a first quite easy round and hope not to face pinguin to early...

Yes but then again the habs are the smallest and softest team that will be in the playoffs so not gonna be easy for them to get out of the first round, even the NYI are not a team they can easily walk over. Dont get me wrong, the habs have a shot, as seen last year with the LA KINGS, but then again the Kings were big, tough and skilled with excellent goaltending.... my point is you need all 4 of those things to win the cup in todays NHL... the habs have 1.5 of those things these days, Skill and the .5 is a shaky Carey Price.

It seems since Emelin went down, the habs Defense has suffered greatly, never thought he was that good but maybe he was.

1st- I didn't wait until 99.999% of the world could see how Habs sucked last year and had to replace their stupid GM to say it. Which is what you guys did with the Leafs. It has been years that we (GHG, G1G, JC, Merlot, Rumple, etc...) were saying Burke sucked big time. But you had to wait until the whole universe were saying Leafs sucked rhino balls until you finally were able to admit TO's is the worse hockey franchise of all times.

2-Although Price is ok sometimes... I did say (before all other Habs fan) that it was stupid to let go Halak specially when they were saying they couldn't pay that much for a 2nd very good goaltender while they threw Millions at retarded Gomez.
As of now, they have to rely on Budaj when crazy Price is too intoxicated because of the late stupid Gauthier.

3-I had better things to do than to get all excited for the last 5 games of the year like all Leaf's fan do every year since 1967 just to know if my team will make the playoffs. Habs were the 2nd team this year to make it before all others. Even before Bruins.

I don't know if anyone keeps tabs of when goalies are removed for reasons other than injury. Before Wednesday, Price had been benched in the middle of three consecutive games. I wonder if that was already close to the record.

On Wednesday, Price was incredibly lucky when Tampa Bay hit three goal posts in the first period. He might well have had another early exit if those three shots had gone in.
