Playoffs are set to start... meanwhile Douche Cherrry has another of those "ROC's favorite retarded moment" :
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/spor...s-comments-sexist/article11600656/?cmpid=rss1

Here's a good one the guy is against women journalists in the player's locker room while "Professional female sports journalists and media relations personnel have been working alongside their male counterparts in NHL locker rooms for nearly 40 years.”

Now that's what I call 'LIVING IN THE PAST'.
This clown still believe in this 'retarded way of living' which comes from about the time when Leafs last won the Stanley Cup ! :D

I'm a habs fan since I can remember and my 2 best friends are fans of the Leafs and Bruins. The Senators worry me, Anderson has the ability to win a series by himself and I just can't say the same about Price yet but I hope he proves me wrong. It's time for him to step up and prove he is an elite netminder. I am looking forward to the Bruins/Leafs series, it's going to be very physical and let's face it there is NOTHING like playoff hockey and I'm a huge fan of all the major sports, nothing else compares. Enjoy the run to the Cup but unfortunately no Cup for Canada this year.

Look behind you.
Wow play-offs started and Toronto got pounded and all is quite. Maybe after Montreal wins it will change. My Oilers are not playing so I will just hang my head in shame.

Toronto fans are like Boston fans : thay both have English roots, that's why they are very fairplay when they win, but not at all when they lose...

More seriously, Anderson is a real wall and Price a real well...

I see "Red Light" Price cost les scabitants another game tonight, this time a playoff game, not good Mr. Light. Peter B in game 2 anyone? (hope not!) :D

I also see not only are pro sports teams from boston, cheaters (red sox pitchers) but dirty as well (the hit on Grabo landed Ference one game in the press box)

Happy the Leafs finally got the monkey off their back and made the playoffs, whatever happens in the playoffs happens, good or bad, it is baby steps for the leagues youngest team and been a great season no matter what. :thumb:

Real fans show up year round, "boyz".............

good one Man777 and it looks like my prognosis was spot on, Anderson stole game #1 and now we'll see what Price can do. With Eller, Gionta and Max P. out of the line-up, this could be a short series. The moment the habs failed to score on the 5 on 3 I knew they were in trouble.

"It was a hockey play that went bad for Eller," MacLean said Thursday in his post-game press conference. "Our player hit him, but 61's the guy to blame." MacLean also mentioned several players from the past that made a living making hits like Gryba's on Thursday, saying, "That play's been there since this game has been around."

I wouldnt like being from Ottawa leading 1-0 but with a team which representing your city with these kind of gestures and comments....

It reminds me Zdeno Chara's inaceptable attack on Pacioretty in 2011... 1 month later, I saw this retarded butcher celabrating the title, like if nothing happened... (you could have kill a guy but you win a competition... Proud ? really ?)

Yesterday, Canadiens werent psychologically the same after the agression... Poor but easy strategy... Ice hockey is a weird sport, you can almost kill a guy, you will be still 6 on the ice 5mn later... If we follow the same stupid strategy, we just have to seriously hurt Anderson, then Senators would have the level of an Ethiopian Hockey League team...

Jeff Halpern, Colby Armstrong & Gabby Dumont will be in the lineup tonight in order to provide some punch to the attack.

One final note: after suspending Gryba two games for his check on Lars Eller, the NHL has decided that starting with tonight's games, bodychecking will be outlawed & anyone caught bodychecking an opponent will risk facing extra discipline from the league, either in the form of fines, suspensions or both.

Oh definately not counting them out, but just saying the goal this season was to make it back to the dance, and the Young Leafs did just that. I do think if they can get by Boston they could go deep, but Boston is a stiff challenge for sure. GLG!

Iggy makes some good points.

The Leafs fan within me wants the Leafs to win. However, the Bruins have had their number over the past season or two. A team like Montreal would have been a better match for the Leafs, while the Bruins would have been a better match for Montreal, who will have its hands full with Ottawa.

Therefore, the hockey expert in me has to be realistic: the Bruins will prevail over the Leafs in this series, likely in five games. I expect the Leafs to win one of the Toronto games. In the Ottawa/Montreal series, both the hockey fan & hockey expert within me tell me that Ottawa will prevail in five or six games.

hockey expert within me tell me that...

I guess it was automockery... No real experts in here, just fans... :canada:

But you leafs fans, give up really fast... Look at what Bruins have done against the 2best teams of the conf (Pitt/Montreal). When you increase your level, they are quickly overwhelmed... I dont see the Leafs beat bruins, but you should trust them harder.. If fans dont trust their own team, who will ?

Hard to predict what will happened in Ott/Mont serie... Montreal is by far better in the game, but there is the goalie factor and Senators seem stronger psychologically...

You must not be reading correctly bud, neither Doc nor myself have "quit" on our team and are very proud of them no matter what happens, which both of us have stated more than once. I guess since you have consistently done notihng but try to stir the pot that you cannot see both of us were giving the Bruins props for being a better team at this point and time in the NHL lol....... WOW... that was a gift we gave you and your poopie disturbing agenda can not even recognise that, i guess the gift is for us! Bwhahahahaahahahaha........ come back when you can actually compete with me, "boy" ................. Kisses :D

Hey Boys,This is not a pissing post so it doesn't belong in the free-for-all thread. It's just facts here. For all the stuff about being "real hockey fans" and the endless bravado about the Leafs building a tough great team, I find it ASTOUNDING that both Leafs fans are talking like they have quit. Is that what Leafs fans are made of. Two years ago the Bruins lost the first two playoff games at home in a season that was up and down and practically no one expected them to go far. They came back from deficits three times to take game 7 each time. Now the Leafs have lost 1 game and all we see is the fans are already making requiem posts like they have QUIT. Is that what 46 years without a championship has done to Toronto fans, destroyed their faith so bad that they are making concession speeches after one damn game. I thought Toronto fans were known for their loyalty. WHERE IS IT!!!The Bruins have had a with bad time with the Penguins and Canadiens. Toronto, if I'm not mistaking the record, lost one outright, lost one in overtime, and won one. It's not exactly a wipe out by the Bruins. If Boston could hang in for three 7 game series in 2011, can't Toronto fans stand up for one series???Geeeeeez, Merlot

One thing is sure, these a nice playoffs so far.
Despite some cheap shots as always.

More even matched I think.
Not like last year when many teams were having 3-0 leads in 1st and 2nd round.

Also it's THE occasion for 3 canadian teams to really get out of the slump for which they have been for so long.

TO, Van and Ottawa really have to move on to at least 3rd round this time.
For it will be a freakin' waste of money for those 3, since way too long.

At least Quebec's Nordique did way better to give us a good show in a shorter period of time.

So lets see how it goes.
