Easy there Doc, our favorite little punching bag is likely having a good day.

EVERY day is a good day for me junior because I'm not a loser like the leafs and their brainwashed followers (although some of those followers don't have MUCH to "wash" - hint hint).

As for "punching bag", YOU are good enough at being a punching bag to turn pro. Most of the stuff you write reminds me of the sad final days of Jerry Quarry.

Only in your little world Mrs.c are 3 points and 2 points better by deadtroit and tampa, considerably better

Ok, go ahead with a long winded meltdown post (or 5) now, i cant sleep so i might as well laugh for half an hour before i try, go go go :D
That would be an EXCELLENT point, except for one tiny little flaw: All 3 teams are doing considerably better than the Leafs.

And only in YOUR world, little guy, are men confused with women as you have done for the umpteenth time (or maybe you just use the "confusion" as an excuse?).

PS: Also, only in your world - DEVOID OF FACTS - would you invite yourself to be kayoed (like the passive punching bag you are and have always been) by making the absolutely moronic boast that the maple losers could get away with mistakes against 3 OF THE MANY TEAMS (Detroit, Montreal, Tampa Bay) BETTER THAN THEM. Then again, we all know that you've got NOTHING but fantasy.

Guess what, little guy? 7 games is the exact number your hero Joffrey Lupul missed for a "groin problem". Oh crap! Now I've probably given you more fantasy material. My sincere apologies to Joffrey!

Careful there Iggy, taunting poor JC like this! :nono:

You are going to wake up the beast!

Great video Rev - thanks for posting!

Unfortunately iggy probably didn't like it. First, it's two minutes and 20 seconds long, which is far more than the little guy's attention span (if you'll pardon the expression in his case) can handle. Second, there are no cowboys in the video. Third, Blue Oyster Cult doesn't play disco music. For iggy, that makes three strikes and he's out.

By the way, I'm no Jay Feaster fan, but POOR JAY FEASTER (and, needless to say, POOR FLAMES FANS).

I posted this on September 5, when it was announced that Burke was hired by the Flames. Today, December 12, the inevitable happened. Bye bye Jay - we could all see this coming from Day 1.

Poor, poor, POOR Calgary: BB is now - to no one's surprise - the interim GM of the Flames.

For those with short (or SELECTIVE!) memories, Burke was once GM of the leafs. He came in saying his goal was to make the playoffs every year. He NEVER made the playoffs with the leafs! Under Burke the leaf record in 4 years of consistent failure was 129-135-42 (even WORSE than his predecessor John Ferguson Jr. - and they said that couldn't be done, but Burke proved that it could!).

Yes, poor, poor, POOR Calgary!

Bad News: Wings lost 2-1 in yet another shootout.

Good News: 1. Detroit outshot TBay. 2.The Monster was .963 in the game and let in only 1 goal in the shootout, on the SIXTH shot....which was by the great Martin St-Louis. Ben Bishop was even better in the Lightning nets. 3. At least we got a point. 4. At least the loss was to TBay, whose GM is the great Steve Yzerman.

BEST NEWS: The stinkin' leafs were once AGAIN humiliated in a 6-3 loss to the Blues. As usual they were outshot by a large margin (36-22) but this time their goalies couldn't save their sorry asses. In fact Reimer was pulled and registered a pathetic .800 save percentage while "Tie Game" Bernier had a .900. Compare those, if you will, to the Monster, who is playing very well after ESCAPING from toronto.

Looking for a good laugh? Glad to oblige:

The leafs have now won only TWO of their last NINETEEN games in regulation time.

The leafs have now LOST 8 OF THEIR LAST 10 GAMES. Their 2 "wins" were both in overtime, both in games where they blew the lead, and both in games were they were outshot. In fact in each of their 2 "wins" they allowed the opponents FIFTY SHOTS.

Christmas is still almost two weeks away but for any team playing against the stinkin' leafs it's ALWAYS Christmas!

And its a bright pink koolaid.

Just saw Iggy's last post sayin' he is ok with the Leafs so far.

Sh!t I'm not surprised people were ok to keep Burke all this long and Rob Ford now as a mayor.
This town really needs a good swift kick in the a** cuze they don't know sh!t about how to get rid of the dirt !

Really pathetic !

Take note that the first installment of HBO's segment on the Winter Classic will be shown tomorrow evening.

It's somewhat disappointing that as of today, the Winter Claissic will consist of two struggling teams. Hopefully at least one of them will start to play better by the time Jan 01 arrives.

Yes, i agree. Looks like habs fans and Leafs fans may start the golfing season sooner than expected. :D

I think the Habs will do fine...but the Leafs will start at THEIR REGULAR time.

Golf course owners in Toronto were VERY surprised last year at their unexpected drop in income...although it DID rebound after a mere 7 playoff games.

THIS year, even though the end of the season is still months away, Toronto's golf course owners are ALREADY smiling and planning where to spend all that cash!

Leaf Suspensions THUS FAR This Season:

Clarkson - first, 10 games. Now, ANOTHER 2. Good riddance. They say "third time lucky" so let's hope next time this bum does something illegal he's gone for the season! (Not that it would be noticed, since he's done squat anyway!)
Kessel - 3
Ashton - 2
Phaneuf - 2
Kadri - 3

The bums can't play hockey, but they sure as hell can play dirty. Throw them ALL out of the league and get rid of the garbage once and for all!

I hadn't realized the Leafs had lost so many games due to suspension. Now it better explains their current slump. I totally agree.

Just another variation on your "injuries" excuse - which was totally torn to shreds by GHG, Merlot and me.

Excuses are for LOSERS... which is why ONLY the leafs resort to them!

BTW, injuries might be unavoidable and attributable to bad luck or dirty play by opponents (such as Clarkson, Phaneuf, Kadri, Kessel, Ashton,....) but SUSPENSIONS occur only if the player (such as Clarkson, Phaneuf, Kadri, Kessel, Ashton) is brain-dead enough to commit a suspension-worthy offence and thereby penalize his team for X number of games. Not only are the leafs crappy players, but they are also obviously not deep thinkers! I see why iggy loves them.
