You know what it is, men have their orgasms all the time... a big o for a girl is documented as such, but isn't the same for all. But is recognized as such because most of the time she doesn't get off at all, hence why that is what it is expected to look like. But there are many ways a woman can have an orgasm, and each way presents and feels different.
Admittedly i know I've had a great orgasm because afterwards I feel and look like a new born deer trying to walk while legs are buckling under me while i try to steady myself when getting up to go clean up afterwards. But during it can be anything from loud and mindblowing, to silent and just feel like a release with no power. Often first few might start like the later, and after a few becomes like the former. And don't think i have ever curled my toes (fingures maybe but not toes) or shook my leg. That sounds like trying to fight off a leg cramp.
As for a man depends how he expresses himself when he cums. Just might express himself a little more than usual.
I'm going to respectfully disagree, and I'm only talking about my own experience.
Men ejaculate all the time. Men cum all the time. YES. Obviously.
But having a true orgasm? NO. I think it happened to me 2 or 3 times in my life. The first time it happened to me, I was really like WTF is going on!?!?! My whole body started acting weird and I was shaking for minutes, literally. If this is what women experience when they have an orgasm, they are so lucky. You are not in control anymore. It is an indescribable feeling. I must have ejaculated a bucketload of semen. It's so fuzzy... I never really understood WTF happened.
My guess is if men want to experience such a devastating orgasm, get the girl to put a finger up your butthole and play with your prostate... only I'm not the kind to enjoy the idea lol

Reading your experience brings to mind that you may have experienced tantric sex which is very personal requiring total complicity between the partners. Could this have been the case?

I can only speak of what I have seen, and witnessed. I can't feel what he is feeling. Admittedly on an outer view, there doesn't seem to be much difference except the more exagerated view of the norm for the guy.
But for either men or women, an earth shattering orgasm is a feat in itself.
