why is john more derogatory than hobbyist lol
just say client
John is just a word, but it has negative associations, much like the ladies here would generally rather be called an SP rather than a hooker, because using the latter term is considered to be rude. It's a more socially acceptable term within the community. Yes, using client is fine, but it is what the SPs might refer to the men as, not what the men use to refer to themselves typically. Men describe themselves as "hobbyists" (or mongers, pooners, brothers, whatever) but not as "johns" because of the negativity associated with the term. It's all just social lubricant.

Around the corner
Exactly,
Golf is a hobby, ( at least for me it is some may differ on that) collecting stamps is a hobby.
John is the male equivalent to hooker.
Yes they are all just words and if anybody hates cancel culture and the nonsense surrounding which pronoun to use it is me.
Having said that there is something to be said about trying to be polite and kind especially when you know the use of a particular word is offensive to someone, it is not that difficult to use another word instead, luckily most languages have enough of a vocabulary to be able to do that easily.

I could care less either way, but by definition it makes sense for someone that does it on the reg.

Hobby
1.
an activity done regularly in one's leisure time for pleasure.
"her hobbies are reading and gardening"

Damn bro, I think you summed it all up in one picture. As the old saying goes "one picture is worth a thousand words".

All this "hobby" stuff might just only 'cum' from our tender childhood memories ... "little Johnny is going to put his choo choo in the tunnel".

Oh damn, who would have known, even "John" 'cums' from our tender days.

Then wouldn't this also apply to masturbation? "My hobby is masturbating" has a weird ring (lol) to it doesn't it?

"My hobby is eating snacks"

"My hobby is taking baths"

"My hobby is visiting my parents on the weekend"

Idk I just think there's a difference between a hobby and an activity you simply enjoy doing. Not everything is a hobby just because it's fun to do imo. If it's tied to basic needs (like food, sex, hygiene, personal relationships) I wouldn't call it a hobby, but that's just me. I don't have a monopoly on language.

It reminds me of the It's Always Sunny line from Frank "One of the things I like most, is banging whores."

For Frank I think it would be his favorite hobby.

SPs. Do you like to see facial makeup in your male clients ?

I do not care one bit what my clients choose to wear on their face tbh as long as their face is clean enough for me to sit on

I don't care whatever anyone does to feel better about themselves, as long as they have good hygiene. :) Also for example eyeliner on a man can be hot.

I think I'm going to take a break from this thread (and a few others) for a while. Happy new year!

Lol. I am a modernized goth. I don't know if there is a too much liner. How I wear it and how he/they would, would be different. It would be up to standard of what he/they likes. It's the fact that this is how this person expresses themself. It's about feeling comfortable in your appearance, not putting it on for someone else. There is a difference in how someone feels when to them it is authentic compared to for costume.

Do you find males K-pop stars that wear eye makeup a turn on?
I'm 41.
K-pop stars are often children. I don't look at them that way, and don't follow the trend.
My generation of music would be yes I think Greenday hot. And others of the 80's, 90's & 2000's. Often rock musicians who wear liner, not k-pop.
Like most I have my generations taste in music, and something has to strike my fancy as time progress to like the new music.
But if your asking because of race, it doesn't matter what race someone is. The eyeliner is just hot on, anyone really.

For SPs that offer Duos, what are your thoughts on duo requests from a new client? Do you prefer a solo date for the initial meeting vs duos or indifferent?
