I don't have any answers for you but I don't think anyone is ''cut out'' for this field, or not cut out for it. I think even if someone doesn't regret starting at 18, that doesn't mean they had good experiences at the time. It takes a while to find your way around this industry, no matter what.. it takes a certain level of emotional intelligence, maturity and street smarts to protect yourself.

I had the same experience as well. I got to date some very beautiful women in my life. Never been rich.
