I’ve had 2 clients under 40 since March. I just don’t attract younger men that much.

Not to criticize, but your rate compared to an agency is almost 50% more? The reflection in clientele is probably indicative of that? You also probably weed out some of the less scrupulous clients. I'm positive if I saw you in real life at an appropriate venue, I'd hit on you.

But the thing is that my friends charge even more than I do and they have people in their 20s-30s all the time so I think it’s not just a money issue.

And even in my personal life, younger men don’t seem that interested.

Ah ok.....oui en terme d'exercer un autre travail/métier/profession au moment de quitter votre travail actuel.....ou simplement comme beaucoup d'entre nous penser ou même rêver à un autre travail qu'on aimerait faire ou qu'on aurait aimé faire....par exemple perso
je fais la même job que j'aime depuis 25 ans maintenant.....MAIS mon souhait/rêve aurait été de devenir un joueur de tennis professionnel.....lolll.....

Je fais déjà ce qui me plait. J’ai la chance de le faire par choix et non parce que j’y suis forcée.

J’ai un autre petit boulot que j’aime bien.

"Regular" is very flexible! It can be someone who comes to see you every day, every week, every other week, once a month, once every few months, etc. Once a year, even for many years, I would not consider the client a regular. Maybe it's about something you can count on? You can count on your regulars to cover a part of your expenses or needs: you know the amount of money he'll bring you, and you expect it.

It's important to never take your regulars for granted though, clients come and go. Even your best client can disappear overnight.
