I am in favor of considering any, and all, measures that will reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. A carbon tax, or cap-and-trade system, both aim to slow down global warming and give businesses an incentive to develop clean energy alternatives and more environmentally-friendly production processes.
And yes, my diet is largely plant-based. I tried fried insects once while traveling in Asia, but I was not a fan. I guess eating insects is an acquired taste - like being an anti-government science denier.
Results prove that none of these measures work. All it did was make the government lots of money. The cap and trade system only makes produce more expensive ultimately hurting the poor the most. But what do you care? So long as Socialist policies are forced, the Liberals are all about virtue signalling. Just to put things into perspective, scientists who did not predict a single thing accurately for the last two years are confident they know what the weather is going to be in 100 years.

And this takes us back to my original statement about the COP15 conference, about people willing to accept a lower standard of living (you just confirmed you are willing to accept it) while those politicians are zipping around in private jets and the booking the most expensive hotels (all paid for by taxpayers).

Virtually all of the leaders of the Global Climate Crisis movement have developed lucrative careers and noterietay based on the climate crisis lie!!! Some have sought/ held political office using climate propaganda. Others have developed fraudulent businesses, products, or procedures purportedly ‘fix’ the climate. All use media as personal revenue sources. Books, blogs, movie/ TV productions, public speaking, or consulting to finance the luxuriant lifestyles of leading global climate crisis proponents.
Amazingly, their duped followers deliberately ignore the huge carbon footprint lifestyles’ the climate crisis moguls live... Jetting around the globe ONLY in private chartered aircraft - repeatedly to climate conferences... MANY live HUGE CARBON FOOTPRINT LIFESTYLES in sea side mansions which they claim would soon be flooded… Hypocrite scammers … not to worry, many of the believers treat climate change crisis as a religion!!!
