The more serious question is the economic devastation that would occur if people quarantined themselves, or our fucking government does that for us. A lot less would get produced if everyone sits at home and hides

True but then if it happens it would be the first time something of substance is done to save our planet. And maybe we will start to like sitting at home and enjoying free time instead of just working like crazy just to pay a mortgage, student debt, healthcare and try to save for when we retire (concept of retirement saving is pure nonsense too me!!!!)

Those markets may have indeed contributed to the the spreading of the virus, but it is not exactly clear that it is where it originated. Do they sell bats there?

This is going to be my first post ever and I thought I’d shed some light on this virus as it does pertain to asian SP’s like myself however I cannot speak for all asian sp.

First off, I rarely get any asian clients because asian clients do not prefer to see their own race for personal reasons or probably because they have an asian wife so they’d like to try something different as we are not foreign to them. So Asian sp’s should be the least of your concern especially Canadian born sp like myself.

Also any clients that have travelled to Asia in the past month should already be cautious and considerate to everyone else not just
SP’s or the public in general please!

I’m really not enjoying the vibe of racism in this forum guys, I’m not even Chinese

This is a matter to be concerned, the instant news of the 21st century makes it look worse than it really is. The news of the Spanish flu of the early 20th. century did not travel as fast and it had dire consequences. The news of the Coronavirus traveling around the world at light speed. It was better that the virus happened in China where the government can impose strict laws. If it happened in the USA the ACLU (
American Civil Liberties Union ) would go to court to stop the government from putting people in quarantine without having the virus. There have been more people that have died in Canada from influenza than has died in the world from the Coronavirus. In both cases most people the succumb to the viruses have respiratory or other health problems previous to catching the viruses.
