Covid-19 being as contagious as it is, if it was in the bodies of certain animals, it was probably only a matter of time before some human had contact with an infected animal. It was eventually going to happen, maybe through a rabid bat carrying the virus, biting someone and then spreading the infection that way. Maybe through random human contact with the infected animal, or its feces. Short of exterminating the bat and pandolin populations from the Earth, how was the eventual spread of the virus going to be stopped?

Corona virus is most likely a hybrid between a bat virus and a pandolin virus. These animals would never meet in their natural habitat since they live on different continents.

The Connecticut Chief Medical Examiner actually issued a statement today, after the news reports, to say that although the baby tested positive for Covid-19, a cause of death has not yet been determined and will not be determined for several weeks. All that is known is that the 6 week old baby was brought to the hospital unresponsive and could not be revived.

Unless Trump appoints himself to a second term under emergency powers to prevent Pelosi (or whomever the State electors choose) from assuming the POTUS position. But the electors of each state could choose whomever they want as the next President. And Pelosi would need to get her Speaker seat back because there would be a new HOR, so it's not automatic she would even be Speaker of the House in the new House.
