Not really. Everyone I've known that has recently gotten COVID has been fully vaccinated. But if your commenting on everything in my recent post I'm not really sure what your referring to. The 29% positivity rate is due to vaccination? How so if NY is one of the most vaccinated states in the country? If the majority of people that are being hospitalized are not vaccinated the reason for the current low death rate wouldn't be vaccinations because they aren't vaccinated, so I'm not really sure what you mean that this is due to vaccination. The bars and restaurants suffering because of vaccinated people? C'mon.

Vaccinations aren't the way out of this pandemic or Quebec's current curfew/lockdown. In the US, we've had 2 years of COVID, one with a vaccine and one without. In 2021 we had vaccines for all and we still had more deaths than the previous year. I'm pro vaccine and I think everyone should get one, but the reason for the steep rise in COVID positivity in NY isn't because of vaccinations.

I went for probably my 20th Covid swab test this morning since March 2020. I must say the Covid technician was very, very aggressive with the swab, sticking it in violent, corkscrewing thrusts up each nostril. It was really annoying, it seemed like Covid testing with extra aggression except I didn't pay for or order the extra aggression. Anyway I am waiting on the results.

Today it is 0.7 and 8.5 so maybe it is time to realize that the vaccine passport is a useless piece of garbage and you are much more likely to end up in the hospital also than before and almost as likely to be infected by a vaccinated person as an unvaccinated
Perhaps it is time to focus on why the fuck our government did nothing to improve the health care situation, did zilch to add hospital beds, hire nurses or bring in doctors.
They didn’t even have the foresight to purchase enough N95 masks for the population or to provide rapid test kits
This whole idea of making an appointment with the pharmacy for non existing kits is a total joke.
We all have a mail box most have community mailboxes how difficult would it have been to drop a kit in every addresses mail box. They seem to have no problem dropping propaganda to vote for them in your mail box or your front door and staple to every lamp posts but for Covid test kits which may save lives we have to make an appointment.

No. Listening to docs in hospitals the older are not staying for weeks, before going to ICU before dying.
They require a little oxygen and move on after a few days.
The young need to get vaccinated to not be hospitalized to leave room for those that need it. The older raise their odds by being vaccinated.
