Most non-vaccinated people that I have spoken to always say “they’re afraid of the vaccine.” My response to them is “I’m more afraid of Covid than the vaccine"

That's the thing about news coverage of covid - it's never explicit. But visit any nursing forum and the accounts of people dying from COVID are graphic and horrific. I wouldn't wish covid on anybody at all.

If the anti-vaxxers ever saw the the horrible outcomes (survival/death) & devastated families first hand, then they'd change their minds pretty quick.

I am getting Pfizer booster shot (jab #4) at Walgreens on Monday. Walgreens is now stocking Moderna and J&J and now we can mix and match per my Doctor and the CDC. My Doctor is recommending Moderna as he thinks it is more potent, but as Pfizer has served me well and protected me so far despite documented exposures to Covid positive persons, I am going to stick with it.

I know 2 persons who also got their 4th shot recently. Both have auto-immune disease and should take pills to slow down their immune system. One is only 40. If a 5th or 6th is needed. so be it. They will take it.

Moderna is widely regarded as more potent probably because the dosage is higher than Pfizer.

Personal anecdote - I got my 3rd shot last December (all Moderna) & just flew back & forth to Spain on a fairly long flight, took the high speed rail between Barcelona & Madrid, used crowded subways, did the usual sightseeing, ate tapas at bars w/ little social distancing and of course, met many escorts. Covid couldn’t even touch me. Did rapid antigen tests throughout my trip and a final PCR test. All negative! Damn, these vaccines are good!!!

I am an athlete.

I know my body very well. My blood pressure, my resting heart rate, by heart.

Pun intended.

I took the Pfizer vaccine so I would be able to travel and I felt like it was the right thing to do at the time.

It really messed me up and I'm trying to recover.

Myocarditis, inflammation, palpitations, arrhythmia.

I find it hard to accept that we are forcing people to take such a dangerous vaccine.

People have the right to choose, that's what freedom is about.

How long it goes? Did you have 2 or 3 shots?

I had the mentionned side effects after the first shot.

I was very early to be vaccinated and these side effects were not common knowledge, so there was no bias.

I knew something was wrong when I would wake up at night with arrhythmia, it's never happened to me. Especially rested.

I respect everyone's choice either way whether they chose to take it or not. I believe in freedom.

Thanks. I have similar experience. There is no freedom without knowing what you are choosing from

Lots of people ranting about freedom without even understanding the sacrifices that were made in order to get them that freedom in the first place.

10.2 Billion (yes, BILLION) covid vaccines administered worldwide w/ a very small number of longterm negative side effects reported. These vaccines are very very safe.

There are actually people who are genuinely allergic to the vaccines but yet they still take them despite the risks because they understand this is the only way to end the covid pandemic.

I have been to some of these anti-vax rallies and I saw a lot of whiny self-entitled complainers who only want the privileges of a free society but none of the duties or obligations. To them, vaccines are bad but hey, no problem stuffing their faces with greasy, salty food & guzzling excessive amounts of alcohol then topping it off with smoking carcinogenic cigarettes.

Want to see who really sacrificed for our freedom? Go to any overwhelmed hospital & take a look at those heroic medical professionals who continue to soldier on despite genuine threats to their healths. The huge number of medical professionals that are forever broken mentally by this never ending pandemic will shock anyone.

The priests of places of worship want to welcome the non-vaccinated as much as the vaccinated.

And they should end the masses with "Go in peace and contaminate each other"

2 goddamn years of this shit and they still haven't realized it can be spread indoors?? If anyone gets infected, I hope they stay home and let God take care of them.

Sucks that the actual paper is behind a paywall.
Suspiciously there are plenty of new articles referencing new strains of HIV.
False association with vaccine? Us minions will never know.
ANY vaccine will change the natural balance between the human body, immune system, and pathogenic and even beneficial viruses.
And yes some viruses are beneficial like bacteria.
The universe of viruses has definitely been disturbed.

The media distort (intentionally or not) the numbers of papers being released by picking and choosing “hot” topics. This can make it look like majority of scientists think one thing, when they actually think the opposite.
And some researchers are very slick in their presentations whole others are awful. Einstein was terrible at public speaking, for example, while Feynman was fabulous.

It is sad that so many papers are behind paywalls. Again, mass media often completely mis interpret the papers or quote parts out of context.

The professor that did this study-recommendation:

They alway look like hardcore communist technocrats.
"Réflexion éthique sur la question de limiter l’accès aux soins aux personnes non-vaccinées, a été remis le 21 janvier à la Dre Lucie Opatrny"
I would recommend send the truckers her way.
