No trafficking charges are laid, and there seems to be 1 obscure case of a minor. This has to do with smuggling, not trafficking. But of course, the RCMP PR people are pushing things as usual:

"Selon la GRC, les victimes arrivaient au Canada illégalement ou avec des visas d'étude frauduleusement obtenus. «Elles étaient d'abord exploitées quelques semaines dans un lieu précis, avant d'être relocalisées ailleurs au pays pour qu'elles continuent à se prostituer, a expliqué le porte-parole Érique Gasse. Elles étaient gardées dans des conditions indicibles.» "

If this was true, it would be a clear trafficking case.

They don't even lay charges for the smuggling part, only for the prostitution offense. Why is that?

Obviously, the biggest victims in all of this are the trafficked girls. Personally, I'm not into the Asian scene at all. But while this thread has everyone's attention, I think it would be great if someone could post any resources for girls that are suspected of being trafficked or otherwise working against their will.

This just solidifies my reasons for not seeing asian SPs or anything run by them. You just never know....

That is one of the reason why i try to avoid incall as much as possible. You never know what could happen. When you are in your hotel room you have other reasons to be there. Of course its a lot more discreet and unlikely to get busted anyway in the first place, but then i think it would be much easier to explain why you are there and who is this person.

Well C36 has made outcall just as illegal. So why would incall be any more safe? It just takes an SP who is willing to talk to police because she is not going to be busted for what she did. Only the person paying gets the charge. So, again why would incall be any more risky than outcall? If you are at home, chances are your neighbors may see her arrive. If you are in a hotel, there's mostly likely cameras picking up most movements of people.

As I am sure you are aware, in the US, when the cops are staking out a known incall location, such as a sleazy low-price motel, it is standard operating procedure to follow a guy who is leaving the hotel and pull him over for some complete bullshit traffic violation. They will note that they saw him leaving the hotel and, especially if he has a local address, ask him if he is staying at the hotel. When he says no, they will imply that he must have been there buying drugs or sex, since vice is known to occur at that motel. Some fools will just break down and admit things. Almost everyone in that situation will get rattled as hell. A truly cool customer will refuse to take the bait and refuse to answer questions.

There is no precedent in the US for cops to knock on the hotel door of a registered occupant and ask him about the guests he just had over. While none of us know how Canada might ever try to enforce c-36, if at all, I think outcall is a lot safer than incall from a perspective of avoiding cops on a fishing expedition - if Canada follows the techniques of US law enforcement.

Yeah exactly...having one girl visit you once at an outcall isn't really going to raise suspicion. But if you have multiple guys visiting the same room over and over all day, someone is more likely to take notice. Safety-wise, outcall is the way to go.

More or less this... it would need to be specificaly targeted at the guy, and so lots of reasons for the cops to show up. I mean exept the clerk at the reception, who could actually call the cops and say "hey yo that guy is seeing an escort there" . And the clerk... if your a good client, why the hell would he do that... I mean unless you are one bad client and he would like to annoy you, but if you are a good client, and do that discreetly... i don't see him destroying a good business relationaship...

When it comes to incall you never know if the cops have views on the incall location, if they do survelance and so on...

Like i said chances that the situation goes as far as police knocking on your door in an outcall... there VERY VERY LOW. And if they are... you can always say its a girl you met not long before and blablabla. Of course if she play the part is up to her... but anyway, i doubt that would ever even happen.

Well, Patron, there is a major difference in Canada's prostitution law and the prostitution laws in the US. In the US, both the payer and receiver are guilty if it is proven that they engaged in sex for $.

In Canada now, only the payer is guilty of prostitution. So LE says to the young woman, you will get immunity from us so tell us what you did and how much he paid you. They may even try to intimidate (lie) to her by saying we can arrest you if you refuse to tell us. What do you think a young woman will do and say? I am not talking about an independent or the agency. They will pressure the young SP into turning against the client because of the leverage in the law which gives SP's immunity from prosecution.

Do you think that visitors from the US or another city in Canada see only 1 SP during their stay to Montreal?

It probably will not be the desk clerk who calls LE about girls visiting an outcall. It will be most likely a neighbor or another guest at a hotel.

I still remember the scouring look I got from another guest when I opened the door for a SP who was visiting me and the guest, a young woman, was entering her room.

SP unfriendly hotels will probably warn guests that it is illegal to procure prostitutes if they see what they think prostitutes visiting a particular room. SP friendly hotels will turn a blind eye, but they will not if someone complains. They will probably warn the guests before ever contacting LE.

When I fly to Montreal I see at least 1-2 SPs per day (sometimes 3) on Outcall. I am certain some of the staff knew, but they never said anything and were nothing less than courteous and professional. Even the ones that require keycards. One time I spent the day with Molly and Minx, both of whom I greeted in the lobby of Crystal. We enjoyed the hotel pool, we left and came as we pleased for lunch/dinner, and when it was all over and they left, Molly had forgotten something in my room. She simply told the front desk and they unlocked the elevator for her without having to bother me. Of course this was all before c-36 but my point is that even some of the most restrictive entry hotels didn't care and did not treat me or any of my guests with anything less than courteous and professional service.

Its a good thing too because if not for any of these women I would never come to Montreal.

Cause a lot of people love to scare themselves. If you're not involved in human traficking nor underage prostitution, then you don't risk anything.

So it's still 99.999% safe to hobby. If you don't want to take a 0.001% risk in your lives, then stay at home guys, don't even drive your cars anymore...
