Will Suzuki be the first Japanese player on the Habs? And the first named after a motorcycle?

The habs are paying Jonathan Drouin $5.5 million to play on the third line. This can't work and they must and will find a way to trade him. But let's be honest: Claude Julien has no other option but to put him on the third line since he has shown he doesn't belong on the top two lines.
Once again success this season will once again lie on Carey Price's shoulders. It's an average team who'll spend the year struggling to make the playoffs. They'll have their moments, and their downs. If they want to remain competitive their top players (especially Price) will have to remain away from the infirmary.

oui tu as raison c'est bien Jymny..lol.....mais ne l'a pas utilisé hier....lol........dommage...ont bien fait, bien joué MAIS ce genre de défaite fait mal.....i pt gaspillé ici et là et ca fait la différence en fin de saison.,,,,,Price a parfois été brouillon....KK-DROUIN ont impressionné....pourvu que ca dure.....et les Leafs Samedi.
First game for the Habs last night and it was a pretty entertaining one .
Not many are expecting them to contend for the cup ,,, but most will be happy ,just as long as they stay competitive and improve as a team . And who knows they might surprise some and even make the playoffs . Wish them a great season .

WOW...quel comeback ...4 buts consécutifs pour faire 5-5 et une victoire en shootout..wow,,,,,big thanks to KAPANEN :yo: ..lol......on a revu l'équipe de l'an dernier qui ne lâche pas---belle rapidité et tenacité.....PRICE oui 5 buts MAIS de gros arrêts pour permettre la victoire.....autre solide performance de Drouin...

BTW the Toronto media seems to be blaming the loss on (1) Montreal being better rested and (2) Kapanen "inexcusable" loss of composure. Was just wondering what you guys think of these excuses?
Young players make dumb mistakes some times , what you gonna do .
The bigger question is the Leafs team defence which has looked shaky so far . I mean they had a big lead didn’t they ? Good news is that it’s just the beginning and I’m sure that they are going to figure things out ,,, it’s a long season .
It was a very entertaining game though and a great Habs comeback.

So what you guys are saying basically is that Hutchinson is a suck-ass backup goalie? Well, at least Toronto signed him cheap- $700,000 on a one year deal. The Leafs could probably do better for a backup goalie, but when you have a couple of star players signed to huge contracts, on the back-end of the roster you have to have some cheap, suck-ass scrubs to whom you can pay peanuts. That is how it has worked in salary capped sports from the beginning of time.
Speaking of backup goalies, did anyone note the 31 save, .969 save % performance of Georgiev in Ottawa last year? I figure that Georgiev could play around 30 games for the Rangers this year and he looks up to the task, unlike Hutchinson, who is a classic scrub, scrap heap backup goalie.

Good game...mais une autre défaite 5-4 in OT....un autre point qui s'envole.... se contente d'un point grâce à KINKAID qui avec 34 saves a été ok et a permis ce point. SABRES--HABS ..2 équipes similaires, rapides, tenaces qui misent sur la jeunesse et qui vont toutes deux se battre pour une place dans les séries.
