people who ask a ton of questions and waste hours of my time without ever booking :(
More often than not the answers are already either in the published ad or website. When this happens just copy and paste something like "thank-you for your interest, you may find that information in my Ad/website" and move on.

It's a nice, non provocative way of saying wake-up idiot your wasting my time. If Dumbo still comes back with stupid questions, ignore. He was informed once and clearly does not deserve the privilege of your time or presence. Block, Next.

Well, my services aren't listed in my ads or on my website clearly. But really often conversations last way too long than just answering a simple message.

It's really hard to feel like you're good enough in this industry, specially with the constant comparisons. Both clients and colleagues are constantly criticizing you. Am I attractive enough? Am I charging too much or too low? Should I offer something I don't want to offer because I'm simply not comfortable with it/don't like it? Am I too nice or not nice enough? Am I saying too much or not enough? :( It's exhausting.
Maybe a coach could be of support. Note: I am not talking about a pimp but someone that can support you in this domain.

It could be a fellow worker in the SP industry or maybe even an old client. If it is an old client it must be VERY clear that it is coaching only and never is there to be any form of physical contact, never.

But first of all YOU must believe that you are good enough and stop comparing yourself with others. And of course NEVER, NEVER, NEVER offer services that make you uncomfortable, never.

This is my third year in the industry and I've acquired a lot of experience, I have a lot of contacts and we frequently discuss various situations together. I am not without support and I do have people I can ask for advice. There is no fool proof method to succeed in this industry and I feel pretty proud of where I am right now, i do have some success, but sometimes things can still be difficult. Something that works for one SP may not work for another. I've been given advice that didn't work for me, and advice that worked. It's a trial and error process at this point.

There are coaches and bookers but I don't trust their intentions, they are looking to take a huge cut from your salary etc. I'm not interested in that.

But why are these things (shower, expectations, limits etc) not discussed when setting up the appointment or written in the Ad and/or website?

Of course most of us know that in most cases shower is on our dime, but you always have the odd-ball with the "duhhh, i did ant no". In some cases yes they could be just at their first experience and not familiar with protocol but more often than not they are control freaks and this is one of their steps ... I pay, my time, my shower.

Watch these guys since it is probably not the only thing they will try to control.

Clear communication right at the setup of the appointment and again validated when super dick walks in might save a few awkward, not to say unpleasant, moments.

It's unbelievable how you ladies must think of each and every little detail for some jocks.

Here we are gents playing adult games when we can't even put on our own big boy pants and act like half civilized gentlemen with ladies offering us privileges we'd probably never get in RL.

how a 15-20 minutes shower can be bad, if it’s on the clock? At least you know he will be super clean!
What Giselle said. They think it's not on the clock, and they are doing it on purpose. From personal experience working at MPs, I know that some guys will jerk off in the shower to last longer during the session as well. Sometimes it also happens after the session. The client insists on taking a shower so he can stay longer, and then une conversation interminable ensues. :) I've mentioned in the past that I appreciate my client's presence, and I wasn't lying, but my time is precious.

That's the thing. Personally, I usually discuss these things with the client beforehand, but some gentlemen prefer to keep the booking process not too complicated, and I personally enjoy that. These clients are used to booking SP's and know what they should do or shouldn't do.

Of course there are the normal decent gentlemen who are the picture perfect customer that are always a pleasure to book. I don't think the point we are discussing really concerns this group.

And thank G that these decent people exist to help balance the more unpleasant encounters.

What if the escort I’m seeing goes on an unprompted rant about her distaste for “the Indians and Blacks.” Does that open the door to share my own differing bigoted views or should I keep quiet?
She is in the wrong line of business if she is to rant about others races.

And if she is willing to rant about them. I would be concerned she will likely rant about you to the next client.
That is so unprofessional for her to rant about things like that. There is nothing sexy about racism.

Been reading the comments on how to be a bad client, and I ask myself the question: How are we a bad client? And to who’s standards.
We are all humans, and we all have bad habits just because everyone is doing it, does that mean we have to do it too ?

It’s like driving a car: not putting your flasher to turn, or leaving your flasher on for 10km, or doing rolling stops instead of full stops or cutting people off, or at a green light and not moving because you want to turn and you forgot to put your flasher till some’s honks you and you either give him the finger or put on your flasher or even worst, driving 175km on HWY 20 and not getting caught, okay that was me, late for lunch, sorry.
We all have inherited bad habits over the years, that being said, we as clients get confronted by
  • fake pictures
  • fake age or outdated 20 year old pictures
  • Last year she was 59, all of a sudden she is 52 years old
  • services that are promised, but never happen!
  • Arriving on time even at rush hour, and making you wait 20 minutes in your car like an idiot.
  • Paying for an hour, and all finished in 22 minutes, including a shower
  • Forgot to tell you, she has 6 cats or that her boyfriend is their watching TV or something else.
  • She promises a high end condo, when its actually a dump apartment with a filthy bathroom.
  • And the list goes ON and ON.
So maybe some of us are so tired of receiving bad services or disappointing services, that without noticing we become bad customers, to bad service received in the past.
I am only generalizing, and there are some good providers that it be Indy’s or agencies. But there is a lot more bad providers than good providers out there, in my opinion.
We can all micros argue every point, and I agree there are some real bad customers out there as well:
  • No respects for SP’s
  • Bad hygiene, including bad breath.
  • Cancel last minute or never show up and advising.
  • Asking for more than a SP is willing to provide
  • And total morons!
  • And more
So, the question was how to be a bad customer, it’s a two-way street, if we got good service to start or were a good customer, the question would not be out there.

My 2 cents!

And maybe the “bad” providers are bad because they get so many “bad” clients. It goes both ways but this thread is yet another reminder in case some people don’t know that these points would give you the “bad client” label in our phones.

It's like in school, those who do their homework get good grades.

Here, those who do their homework get good lays.

In both cases there will always be those that flunk from lack of effort.
