This also reminds me of an incident that occurred on the private members only blog of a high end New York massage parlor around 10 years ago. One of the members who neglected computer security was busted by his wife who logged on with his handle, made some vengeful posts that mostly attacked the ladies working at said MP (the usual serial insults like "sluts" and whores") and she also waged a vengeful campaign of telephone harassment for several days on the totally innocent phone girls. This harassment of the MP went on for a couple of days (the phone harassment part anyway) until the owner of the MP, who I have met personally (40 plus Eastern European woman who worked as a MP) posted a long, calm rational letter to the jilted wife. In the letter the husband's adultery was confirmed, but the blame was pointed at reasons other than the MP- failure of the marriage, boredom, unhappiness, etc. and also pointing out that her MP wasn't the only MP that the philandering husband was going to, and that her business didn't deserve to be singled out as he had come to them, not vice versa as it was an incall phone in operation. I just recall the letter was well written, calm, and overpowering with logic. The harassment of the phone girls then stopped. The whole episode was a major lashing out. I am pretty sure the member was banned because the owner was very unhappy with his sloppy, dumb-ass computer security.
