Here's my pet peeve. And I'm not targeting any particular Montreal agency. Nor is it a peculiarity of Montreal. Though, it does happen in Montreal more than
every other city I hobby in. Montreal SPs on the whole are flakier and less reliable than SPs in other sin cities.
Girls canceling or no longer able to make a pre-booked appointment at the agreed-upon time, and the booker not letting me know well beforehand that this is the case. "Well beforehand" is the day before, or the morning of, or at the least an hour before the appointed time. If you're 30 minutes late, fine, I'm not a stickler about that. Even an hour. I still remember the Eleganza and Devilish days when girls were regularly an hour or two late... But if I have a 5pm appointment, and your regular check-in time is 10am. You should be warning me by noon that "Hey, there might be a risk. I haven't been able to reach the girl all day."
Or if a girl is late, don't tell me "She is minutes away" when it's 30 minutes. Don't tell me she's 5 minutes away, when it's really 10. Sometimes, clients have hard deadlines and time stops (e.g. a work or personal meeting, or a hotel checkout time!!!), so the booker is just screwing himself by lying.
If her previous client decided to extend the time, I get it - business is business, maximize your profit, I don't begrudge you that. You better still take care of me, and let me see the girl. Pushing me back an hour is fine, but don't bump me from the lineup altogether, if I'm able to stick around. And keep me informed of the time.
But to tell me 10 minutes before, or right at, the pre-appointed time, IT IS NOT OK.
"Oh, BTW, xx can't make it. Is it OK if she comes later tonight (for a day appt), or tomorrow?" ...Or "Sorry, she didn't confirm she was coming in this morning, I haven't been able to reach her all day, she's not answering her phone." I have shit to do. I have meetings I'd rather not be hurrying through. I have other plans. I'm not just sitting around, waiting for an SP all day. Respect my time, too.
It goes both ways. Just like I would never call an agency to cancel a date 10 minutes before. If I must, because of an emergency, I do it the day before, or the morning of, or at least 3-4 hours beforehand. If I canceled on appointments 10 minutes beforehand a few times, I'd get blacklisted. As well I should!! Same goes the other way. If an agency or booker does that a few times to me, they stop being on my call list. :nono:
As examples of those bookers/agencies who do it right: Mike at Goodgirls/EC this week, who let me know the night beforehand that his girl had canceled. It gave me sufficient time to go to Plan B. A pro, and considerate. Also, XXXtase - late on (only) one of my many dates this week, but gave me sufficient heads-up, kept me in the loop the whole time, and delivered as promised. And, James at Euphoria has always been a pro's pro. All bookers can learn from these guys. :thumb:
