I think one should do everything to avoid underage and coercion. This means checking as much as possible but also sadly trusting the agencies/indies one chooses to see…
Still I don’t think it is time to stop all activities altogether. Consensual, honest situations can’t be at the top of the list for police.
Has anyone noticed agency providers seem less “fully booked” than before?
Did you ask your doctor to prescribe you different blood pressure medication? Old school beta blockers and diuretics are notorious to cause ED. I take calcium channel blockers and it has no effect on me for ED at all. ARB and ACE actually improve ED and so do alpha blockers.

I am more worried about having the wool pulled over my eyes, so to speak, at traditional AMP, in terms of the age and coercion aspect, than I am at the agencies.
I did use one of the more popular agencies recently, and I noticed this.
The texting between the client and the booker is minimal at best, like the cold shoulder you would get from an uninterested woman in public when approached. There was no reminder of the cost for the hour, as was always previously done. So no talk of money. There was also no response after the session when I thanked the booker. There was a long delay between my original text of about an hour, until I received a reply from the booker.
I will reevaluate based on that experience whether I wish to move forward with agencies, as I believe it sheds light on the booker/agency end and puts up my guard.

Tbh, the only time the cost is mentioned is the first time I use an agency. After that, the price is never mentioned again...
Years ago i met this popular sp from a high end agency (anyone remember Montreal Girlfriends?) and while getting to know her on our first date (there were many that week!) she mentioned to me that one of the main reasons (other than money) that she chose to escort was that she saw the profession as a form of personal contribution to society. She said that she figured doing this type of work possibly prevented potential rapists from raping women. I told her I disagreed with her reasoning & she replied whatever this was one of the reasons she used to justify what she was doing: keeping rapists off the street. She also worked as a beautician and talked & talked about skin care & other stuff that didn’t really interest me. I WANTED TO GET LAID! Lol. Anyways i totally fell for this young lady & probably saw her 4 times in 6 days! And i returned to Mtl two weeks later just to see her again! Lol. I was so gullible back then!

At the time I wasn’t totally sure what to make of it. I hadn’t been in the hobby for very long & her justification for working as an escort started to make me wonder what kind of people these girls were seeing! Later she told me a story about a client she had seen the previous day who made her wear a dog collar & a mask & would order to bark like a dog! Like i said i was fairly new to this & wasn’t ready to hear these type of stories especially from such a young, sweet friendly girl! But she seemed to take it all in stride & actually joked about it. But she also seemed very naive. Weeks or months later one of her colleagues asked me who else i had seen from the agency & when i mentioned the young lady in question she replied “Omg that girl is so dumb! And she’s not even hot! I know be ause i’ve done threesomes with her & there’s nothing about her that turns me on! And you say you saw her like 5 or 6 times already? Wtf Doc?” I replied “Well you have to admit that she has a fantastic ass!” She replied “Okay, i’ll admit that she has a great looking ass but still…she’s as dumb as a rock! Sorry, but it’s true!” Then i remembered the other girl telling me one of her justifications to escort (about keeping rapists off the street) and agreed that maybe she had a point. By the way at the time i thought maybe that’s what the agency girl who recruited her might have told her. “Become an escort & keep rapists off the street! Save other women!” Lol.
p.s. One of the reasons i rarely mentioned to the ladies who else i saw from their agency is that more often than not they’d usually trash-talk their colleagues (she smells, she’s on drugs, she’s a weirdo, etc). Things i don’t really wanna hear. Occasionally it’d be “Oh, she’s my best friend!” or “Next you should see my friend ____. You’d like her. We can also have a threesome together if you’d like.” But more often than not it’s negative. Jealousy probably had as much to do with their comments. Girls often hate when other girls are more popular than they are. Especially when it’s girls they don’t really like already! Lol.

The truth is if the police wanted to bust all the agencies in Montreal they could had done so a long time ago. They deliberately CHOSE to let them run business. Maybe because to them its easier to keep an eye on it that way and its safer for the women. The question is "will this situation with XO make them change their stance on this?".
Its 2 different domains but i can draw a parrallel, it remind me a bit of illegal downloading. Everytime a website is busted another open up. They may go after the owner of said site (but never after the users) and a new one will take its place. So lets say they would shut down every major agencies who operate "in the public eye". It wouldn't stop prostitution ... we know this. I think it would become even more dangerous for the women who do not want(or can't) go indy and work in agencies. So these agencies are a bit of a compromise with LE. As long as they don't make waves they are not bothered. But XO crossed that line in multiple ways it seem.
I know its easy for me to say this because i already had decided to stay away from Montreal for a little while, but personally i think the smarter move at this moment would be to refrain from booking incalls. Im not saying outcalls is full proof, but it seem safer to me. You are in your hotel room, the only person that goes in your room is the escort herself. Police COULD send an undercover cop that way probably, but that is much more complicated than operating an incall sting. If the incalls of agencies are under surveillance, its much easier for them to do anything. They won't post officers are every hotels in Montreal ...

It's always been safer to book outcall! Not many of you, even the locals posting here, remember that in the 2000s predominately Montreal agencies were running outcalls. The only one I remember runnnig an incall was called "Le Filles de Mr. Jacques", also known as LFMJ. It was only in the 2010s that the incall agencies rose up: Good Girls, Euphoria, XO and a slew of copycats. They all figured out they could make more money with incalls. However I guess the outcall model and learning from the discretion of their historical precessors now is looking good, all of a sudden?

Indeed. When i started, there was very few agencies doing incalls. I don't remember "Les filles de Mr Jacques", must have been before my time. But every agencies of the time exept one was outcall only. Devilish/Girls on Fire, MontrealXXXtase (now XXXclusive), Asservissantes, Satin Dreamz, Mtl Sex City, Woman of Passion and then a few more popped out after. Only Nadya VIP was mainly an incall agency that i recall of. Its Goodgirls who changed the model offering incalls. I think the idea was that incall could be seen as a "bordelo" and was more illegal, at least before C-36 or whatever that was call, Outcall was considered almost entirely safe as long as you didn't made "waves" and remain discreet. Even most hotels never cared.
As i said many times i understand the attraction to the incall model on both client and agency pov (clients save money on room, agency book way more calls) but maybe this "appat du gain" is partly responsible for the current situation. I understand even for escorts, incalls may be better (safer as they are in their environement, no getting out in the hot summer or cold winter times, more money since more calls, no waiting in the car etc) but im sure it may take its toll as well to have to do clients "back to back" with only a 15 min break in between... Outcalls kinda feel "more ethical" to me ... But hey maybe its just my POV.

It was an agency that was catering completely to French locals. They had one of the biggest rosters I have ever seen in Montreal. Their website was totally in French and they were at the time (2002-2005) maybe $140/hour. I never bothered with them as I assumed from their website they would have no English speaking bookers or escorts. They didn't even try to get the tourists at that time, they knew the outcall agencies had them. They focused on French locals and the French locals I spoke to at the time told me they were not for me.

I don't believe the Eleganza arrest got too much media scrutiny. It did have a thread on MERB, but it came to light MUCH later. I think Joe was running Eleganza while John was in jail so the agency was not actually shut down by LE. It continued for a while after the arrest- maybe months or even a year. At the time, it didn't cause too much of a ripple of concern because John apparently was recruiting some girl who was a minor, her parents found the messages or emails and went to the police. It was never clear if John knew the girl was a minor. This is what my memory is of what occurred - I could be wrong.
