Wrong again, and I will let you in on something else that is "quite obvious" and that is that the 2015 red socks SUCK as bad as they did last year as well as in 2012 and that 2013 was total luck like every logical fan (non hoser fans) comprehends.

I predict we will next hear from this (former) poster in feb or march 2016 with how great the hosers will be NEXT season and how bad the Yankees will fall to last place lol............. newsflash pal, the Empire is set up nicely for years to come with the infusion of youth from the farm, something we are already seeing this season and more to come next season and beyond (Aaron Judge, Gary Sanchez, Rob Refsnyder, Mateo etc.... to go along with Severino and Bird already) add in Didi and Eovaldi , the Yanks have and are getting much younger very quickly.

There's an article in Fangraphs that analyzes how the 2015 Yankees would fare if they could perform at their 2009 capabilities. It's quite obvious that someone thinks the 2015 Yankees have not aged in the last 6 years.

Yankees get destroyed at home 15-1 by the visiting Astros!!! That's only 2 runs in their past 2 games!!!! What's happened to the mighty Yankees???

Wow!!! Did Ivan Nova get his protective cup handed back to him or what??? He lasted only 4 innings!!! He allowed 7 hits, 4 walks and 7 earned runs!! The best Yankee pitcher tonight was infielder Brendan Ryan, who pitched 2 scoreless innings. Other than him, they were all pretty much terrible. The Astros battered the Yankees scoring 15 runs on 15 hits! Wow!!!

Now how about them first-place Blue Jays? They came back in fashion tonight by scoring two runs in the top of the 9th with two outs and beat the Texas Rangers 6-5. Go Blue Jays!!!! :thumb:

Light-hitting Yankees lose again! Pinieda allows 5 earned runs in only 4 innings!

I was listening to MLB Radio today while driving and both fans and the experts are getting extremely upset at the fact the Yankees didnt do anything at the trade deadline other than dealing for an injured player from Seattle.

The 'bombers' only got 5 hits today. Even though Pinieda wasnt very good, you cant win many games if you can barely score any runs. When your core players are as old as they are, they start breaking down and tire easily as the long season drags on.

Girardi was also blasted for causing a fracas last night with Carlos Gomez of the Astros. If the Yankees miss the postseason, will he be able to retain his job?

Wow! What a game by Justin Verlander. He lost his no hit bid in the 9th inning in a 5-0 victory against the LA Angels. This is only his second win but his last 6 games prior to this gem Justin has pitched a minimum 7 innings each game and opponants are hitting in the low .200 with no power and he is striking out 1 batter an inning. It may be too little too late for the Tigers but their ace is back.

Yes, I wanted to see him get the no-no. Hes still throwing 97 and he has a yellow hammer curve and he has developed a really good slide piece. Fans here have been getting on JV and blaming Kate Upton. Hell, all their wives (with the exception of Victor Martinez) are hot as hell. Heck, I'd do preferenttialy several of the other wives over Upton. I don't think you have to have an ugly wife or girlfriend to play baseball well.

Jays win again! Destroy the Rangers 12-4! Now lead the light-hitting Yankees by 2 games!

This is almost getting boring! The Jays won again! The Jays are 'contenders killers'! :D

And the Red Sux are still in last place, worst organization in baseball with the most overrated farm system, every year for as long as I can remember their farm system has been rated highly only to produce what?, Pedroia, that's it, Red Sox farm system= OVERRATED BIG TIME, they should rename their farm system as the Dud system.

Very true, Joe.t.......very true.

It's good that most of the posters in this thread can say that their teams had very good seasons. Most. Sadly, our resident RedSox fans chose to stay away completely for the past few months. They obviously couldnt handle the heat & the positive criticism.

I never went anywhere when the Jays struggled. Neither did Smuler. To their credit, neither did Yankees fans and Tigers fan hungry101 hasnt disappeared.

I actually miss some of those Red Sox fans, including those who loved the Porcello signing. Even those who claimed Jackie Bradley Jr was another Willie Mays. I ask: "Where have all the Red Sox fans gone?"

In all honesty what do you expect them to do, come in here and say " ya, our team stinks and so does our overrated farm system, all these years we have been blowing hot air on how good our team is when in reality we stink to high heaven, 2013 doesn't count as it was a "FLUKE YEAR", the Yankees and the Blue Jays are way better then us etc", given the dire situation that their team is in I don't blame them for staying away.

Good point. This is a team who will have finished in last place three out of the past four years. This is shameful!

But truth be told, this team would have possibly been contending for the last wildcard spot had John Farrell not been there this season. Recently, they've played much better and its certainly no fluke. I wish Farrell well in his current battle with cancer, but i have to be honest: he's not a baseball manager! He may even be the worst manager in the history of this once-proud franchise!
