Rather unlikely, but he may still have an outside chance at Wimbledon if he gets back in shape, stranger things have happened. More likely, I think, that the younger generation will finally take over.

The oldest player to win a tennis major is Ken Rosewall, who won the Australian Open at age 37 in 1972. If Federer wins Wimbledon in 2021, he will be almost 40 years old and would beat the Rosewall records by nearly 3 years. History teaches that even if he is healthy enough to enter the tournament, it's unlikely that he will get through it with his shot, broken down body still intact for the finals.

Ok, past 2020 but did not want to start a thread. Looks like a Montrealer Felix Auger-Aliassime put the smackdown on Coerntin Moutet to reach the Murray River final. Eight aces and did not face a single break point.

Felix-Auger has lost all his finals matches that he has played so I hope that he finally wins one

Jannik Sinner is the one who has impressed me up until now ... he will take on Shapovalov in the first round of the AO ... kind of unfortunate that one of the them will exit the tournament so soon as I’m a fan of both

Yep....FELIX will play DANIEL EVANS ranked #8 in final tonight at 10---notre heure---and yes finally he should win his first final ...j'espère... .

Agree....lost again 6-2, 6-3.....EVANS was totally dominant.....Félix was not there at all and seemed exhausted..........the good news was it was his first tournament in 2021 et il fait la finale....BUT we are NOW expecting more.

So today starts the AO ....first day and FÉLIX---MILOS---SHAPO and ANDREESCU are all on......wish them a long journey....should b a thrilling 2 weeks.....enjoy.
