I totally agree with you however where I don’t agree is that most of you make out as if giving out our personal identification is totally safe and it is like handing it over when you get a drivers licence. That is not the case at all, there are many horror stories with clients being harassed and threatened as well. Yes if you do your research you reduce your chances of that happening but it is not nearly as safe as SP make it out to be.
I know you have said that if someone is not comfortable doing that they should move on and that is exactly what I do.

I don’t think that it happens nearly as much and I totally agree with LC18 that an SP is in a much more vulnerable position than clients most times as it is their livelihood and for a reputable SP it doesn’t make sense to screw it up.
However what you say does happen and it is not a one in a million occurrence and not nearly as safe as SP make it out to be so for that reason no I will never give my government ID to an SP I have never met before.

Yes I agree with you that the odds are in fact quit different, even though the John could also be harassed or stalked by pimps.
This being said, my comment was effectively based only on the top layer of the subject.

Personally I have nothing to complain about, except for the inconvenience of outcall agencies often being 15-30 min late, but that's understandable. Generally speaking though I found that my experiences have improved by switching from incall to outcall agencies, which is reflected in point 3: the industrialization of the (incall) agency business. I always assumed thats why most would prefer decriminalize to legalize is then they are going to pay 45% of income in taxes here. Its mostly a cash industry so it would be harder to keep track of and audit.
