......and i guess you support him when saying he will non contest /protest LEGAULT and his Bill 21...lol......vs individual and fundamental freedoms of citizens....lolll.....yep....a great great leader...
I fully support Bill 21. Religion should be KEPT out of government and public institutions. If they want to keep the hijab then they should find work elsewhere!

It has practical effects too to protect the system.

Imagine police being called to Concordia because Netanyahu is doing a speech and there are protestors (happened often). Now if that police arrives with a kippa or a hijab they will *instantly* lose credibility with one of the sides.

We all have political and spiritual beliefs but those should not be represented when you are in a position of authority (maga hat??? would never want a police officer wearing it).

Note that bill 21 only applies to authority. Other government employees are free to wear religious symbols. A very reasonable compromise.

Exactly and I completely agree with all that you said. Now the Liberals will play identity politics. Fidel Trudope will try to intervene with Bill 21 to score votes with Muslims. The left are so woke.

Position of authority ?

A judge, maybe
A police officer, maybe
A grade 3 teacher, position of authority....?

When I attended grade 3, the teacher was in a position of authority , not the kids.
Now, some kids do whatever they want with the approval of their parents.
Poor young teachers.
25 % quit teaching after 5 years.

Fidel Trudope doesn't remember that few years ago some Muslims wanted to apply the Charia in Ontario.
Almost 50 % of Canadians outsifde of Quebec approve Bill 21.
Many women who migrate from Muslims countries who turned back in past centuries extreme domination of men over women, approve Bill 21.

A teacher is in a position of authority as she is teaching and the kids are young and learning. She represents authority. Religion must be kept out. The goal is secularism. They immigrate to Canada, they are given the privilege to be in this country so they must keep their religion out of public institutions it has no place in government or public institutions. See what happens if a Christian walks the streets of Saudi Arabia with a cross.

It will get worse as Trudope keeps on letting in 400,000 immigrants a year to Canada (biggest reason we got a housing crisis) a big portion of them being Muslims. The problem is their religion being Muslim means they got the potential to turn to extremism like Sharia law. But Trudope only cares to have votes. Do not forget about all those illegal immigrants crossing Roxham Rd daily and all are welcomed to Canada with open arms with a fully paid hotel and monthly paycheck. Most of them are Muslims. So yes Bill 21 is needed.

I think exposing a kid to more diversity and different religions is a good thing. Makes for less racists like their parents.

I certainly don't have a strong opinion either way. Let the Supreme Court decide if it's against the charter of rights.

et ignoré grâce à la cause "non obstant"

mais avouons que la loi 21 est un divertissement idéal, le rassembleur de la "nation" pour ne pas devoir parler de vrais problèmes.

Thanks Gaby.

Conservative MPs will be free to travel internationally over the holidays while their Liberal and NDP counterparts have been told to stay home.

I no longer trust O'Toole.

We must not forget that many of these members are against the vaccine.
What did I tell you, the Liberals will travel on the low till they are caught and exposed by the media. The LIberals are the biggest hypocrites. Behold one MP named Yves Robillard was caught for traveling out of the country. He will be removed from his duties. Who knows how many others in the Liberal party traveled, I am sure plenty they just have not been caught yet.

Well remember that famous quote from George Orwell 's Animal Farm :
All Animals are created equal, but some are more equal than others.

George Orwell was a wise man and a lot of his predictions are coming true. Canada in my book is now officially a Nanny State.

Multiple sources told multiple outlets late Monday — a landmark evening for unnamed sources — that a rebel alliance has recruited enough MPs to force a vote on ERIN O'TOOLE's command of caucus.

Thirty-five Tories signed a letter to call the question on O'Toole's leadership — and possibly oust him as early as Wednesday.

As Ottawa wakes up today, the Tory leader is fighting for his political life.

Bye bye Erin.

Oui à suivre...MAIS son éventuel successeur risque d'être encore plus inquiétant et isoler encore davantage ce parti ;) ..et laisser TRUDEAU mort de rire...lol.

I predict that Pierre Polievre guy will be the next Conservative party leader, imo
